I am blown away by how my family was treated in this store. I had 3 older girls with me who were not being disrespectful, loud or obnoxious at all. The young man in the store followed them around, harrassed them and even came back aggressively and asked them where they lived which is highly inappropriate. Out of spite- he allowed 3 people to check out ahead of us and when I refused to look or speak to him, he got snippy and asked how my day was and I told him it was alright and let him know he let 3 people go ahead of us most likely out of spite because the 3rd guy walked in- grabbed two drinks and he insisted on checking him out first even thought we had the same amount of items as the man with the drinks. After harrasing kids for browsing in a TSHIRT and Shell store. (nothing breakable in the store) asked my young girls where they lived. He got super aggressive in front of everyone in the line- told me I'm very weird lady for asking why he asked where little girls live rather then let me know they were bothering him. He also called me a Karen 3 times, cursed at me and flipped me off. Went next door-told a guy who claimed to be the owner with glasses and he did not care at all. Whats wrong with people in Jacksonville having no manners at all? Get rid of your power trip sir. There are tourists in your store to buy t-shirts. You aren't selling million dollar items.

Response: I was never aggressive in the shop. I asked for the employees name and if I could speak to a manager. Its all on tape, Im sure. we weren't even in your store for 10 whole minutes. This family of shop owners is related to the reef shop employees next door per some neighboring store owners. Read the lowest reviews for this shop. They are all the same and absolutely terrible and they do not deserve your business. Go to Beachside- very sweet employees there.

Aggressive owners!!!!!The employees have absolutely no customer service experience at all because if you did you would know 100% know the customer is Always right even when they are wrong and to be kind, you should absolutely not cuss and scream at them and flip them off for asking your name and to speak to a manager. You scared my girls. They were absolutely respectful in all shops- even got compliments. They were not playing tag in your store. You aggressively told them to stop touching things and then came BACK over to little girls when they weren't doing anything and asked WHERE they lived while you know they were uncomfortable after your first confrontation!!!!! I heard how you spoke to them. Not ok!!!! I wish i could give ZERO stars! the employees here are very rude! and have no morals! Me my bestfriend and my brother took my god baby to the beach for her first time ever being that she had never been to the beach nor, experienced the sand or water. She is only 2 years old by the way. so I went to get a towel because i unexpectedly let here get in the water. I did not have or bring a towel because i did not expect for her to get in the water! so i went to the nearest souvenir shop, unfortunately it was sea shells & souveniers! what a mistake! Apparently it was closing time because he was letting people in to grab last min items before they closed. My god baby was shivering from the breeze so we asked him could we just purchase a towel for her he agreed and let us in when my brother was about to come in he mention he already had a store full of people and all 3 of us could not come in. My brother said "cool ill stay outside and then the employee said i dont think yall heard me" and we confirmed that we did and that all of us were NOT going in because we only just need to get a towel for the baby. the employee then began to get very rude saying that we were being disrespectful and how we needed to get the "F" word out! all three of us were shocked because we had not been disrespectful or rude. so we were a bit confused on where his anger demeaner came from. after trying to talk to him to see where the mishap came about he started yelling and cursing at us tell me and my bestfriend to get the "F" word out all while holding my shivering baby! so we walked out and he locked the door came back outside as we were walking toward the another store to see if it was open. He came back out the door yelling very baljernt and calling us negative slurs and at us turned to him and maced my brother! When my brother only repeated that we were leaving and told him that he was being disrespectful for no reason, this is wrong! he started yelling at my brother and calling in a "Pu###" word and i will be working on a police report and working with the BBB to make sure this happens to no one else. I wouldn’t even give them 1 star if I didn’t have too. My fiancé and I came into the store to purchase a bathing suit. I had my 2 dogs with me. I had 2 waters in my hand. As my dogs were barking I stepped out the store because I didn’t want to disturb anyone. One of the employees came outside and processed to tell me that I stole a water. I went into the store as asked and told him that I bought the water into the store. He insisted that he seen me open the cooler and take the water. I than asked him to review the cameras as I would not steal a water. I was there to purchase a bathing suit. He used very foul language and accused me. He stated that I could not leave the store and was going to call the cops on me. He refused to look at the cameras. I politely walked out of their store. If he truly believed I stole something he wouldn’t have let me walk out of the store. I believe I was racially profiled because I am African American and was the only one in the store.
