Riverside Market Square — Attraction in Jacksonville

One of the smallest Publix I've been in. The deli is always a little bit slower than it should be not enough people working back in the substation. They're always out of dressings or sauces for their hot bar or anything that goes with the dipping sauces. And if you ask for any they will not go look in the back they automatically say they're out there's never any extra crackers it's frustrating but that's not a reflection on the whole store. So if you ask normally don't have to ask at a public for a dipping sauce when you buy lunches there almost every day for your staff and spend at times 500 a week plus up to a thousand with that including your birthdays for your office people personal grocery store lunches etc. When you ask for a cup of blue cheese because they're out of a dipping sauce in the back which I find hard to believe literally I got a bottle of dressing which I did not need but I was given blue cheese to Publix brand even though I did buy my own crackers for my soup that day because they were out of crackers too but I felt like I was being put on the spot for asking for a couple blue cheese not a bottle. Had to pass through a couple hands which the couple ladies that I spoke to were very pleasant and then the manager was put out that I asked her for the blue cheese and I did not ask for a bottle blue cheese she could have shared that bottle with everybody else in Delhi that would want the blue...

The location of this Publix store is perfect. I'm a Publix shopper. I really like the Publix at Roosevelt Square. However this particular store on Riverside drive is more convenient for me to get to. What really needs to be done here is to expand this store to make it larger. This can be done by moving the entranceway off Riverside drive to the parking area a little to the east of where it is now, and constructing the expansion of the store to the east. THIS REALLY NEEDS TO BE DONE HERE. It's going to cost a bit of money, but it would be great for the patrons nearby to be able to shop at a well stocked Publix with more room to move around in. There was 2 people in line at the deli today and I had to go through them to get down the crowded aisle.Also you don't seem to have enough room for any containers of coffee over 24.2oz. I went into the hair store and I assumed that was the owner he followed me around like a puppy and made it seem as if I was trying to take something I'm no thief so I probably won't return there he didn't appear to be friendly and I didn't like the way he kept coming from around the counter to watch me and any other African American that entered the store it seemed as if he thought we were going to take something but what he didn't realize is he's in a black dominated area and if he had a problem with black people coming into his store maybe he should go into a predominantly Asian area if that's what made him feel more comfortable so I would not recommend that...
