I asked my family to do an escape room with me for my birthday and it can be hard to coordinate all our scedules, but we were able to find an available time for the room that we most wanted that same day. There were 4 of us in total , 2 guys and 2 girls ranging in age from teens to 40s. The room was designed in a way that every person was able to contribute to solving the clues and and carrying out the necessary tasks. It may be difficult for a group where the majority are really young, but if/when you get hung up on something, you can ask your game master for a hint. Our game master was Mallory. She helped lead us to think in a different manner or better understand what the clue was asking us to solve verus giving you the answer. This kept the room challenging for us but it made it a fun challenge that left us feeling accomplished and proud when we solved it instead of leaving frustrated and defeated. I have only done one other escape room before but it was to help the facility with feedback before their grand opening, so I can't really say how this compares to other rooms but I can tell you that I am thrilled I asked for this for my birthday and everyone in our group agreed that they really enjoyed it as well. Already thinking of various friends to ask to do another one with me...

If I could give zero stars I would. Not only did we wait over an hour to be placed into our room when our waivers were already signed they let a completely different group go ahead of us and keep in mind they didn’t have their waivers signed and still had to purchase their tickets. As for the room itself, it wasn’t fun at all. We would ask for clues and the “game master” Zoe acted like she had no care or would ignore us and we’d have to ask numerous times before they gave us a hint. I do not recommend this place. They also charged us for tickets that we did not purchase and refused to give us our refund. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

(Edited version) Don’t sit here and lie girl. I have two other people to confirm how terrible your place is. We did wait over an hour and you did let a white group go before us. Just because I’m black does not mean you get to treat me and my family some type of way. I REFUSE TO LET ANYONE DISRESPECT OR RACIALLY PROFILE MY FAMILY AND MYSELF. So don’t sit here and lie to keep your customers coming. This is not a fun place to go to. You will have problem after problem and they won’t care. They will also cut you off when you’re trying to explain the situation. Overal a very terrible escape...

This game was a little frustrating at times. The guide saw us check a jacket and then let us spend 9 minutes without checking if we missed that key in the jacket, which we did. If he would’ve checked or clarified, we would’ve made it out. We essentially lost on the last puzzle. I do think the room itself and some of the props were really cool looking, but the technology puzzle locks you out for 30 seconds every single time you enter something in wrong, which makes you nervous to put in another code for fear that you’re going to get locked out again. That being said, even if you have the correct idea, it’s hard to tell what exactly to push on the technology puzzles themselves to match what you’re thinking. Alternatively, there were a few puzzles not related to the technology board that I thought were pretty neat, but the game is also extremely linear, so it’s not intuitive on where to start and what order to do things in. It’s also pretty math heavy, so it can feel tedious at times with trying to figure out the math. Overall, it looks cool, but several issues were had with story, game flow,...

My family had an awesome time trying to escape from the "Kidnapping" scenario. Unfortunately, we did not escape. It was very challenging. Their website does not give any kind of skill level for any of their rooms, so we went in both figuratively and literally blind (The game starts with you being blindfolded). Some skill level indicator could be useful for those bringing kids with them. The game was very fun, however, one puzzle did not logically lead to the next and towards the end, with very little time left, we managed to unlock a box with four more puzzles and no indicator which one should be attempted next. Our game master, Kimber, was very helpful throught our experience and we might have won if we used her hints and clues more often. We are excited about coming back and trying another scenario!

We did the “Clue” room with our boys (12/10 year olds)…is was really great. What stood out as top notch compared to dozens of other escape rooms we have visited was the attentiveness of our game host. If you have done these several times - you have come to learn sometimes your team may accurately solve a clue but a technical glitch can prevent you from moving forward (all get frustrated and you unnecessarily lose time) It was obvious our game host was paying close attention as we tackled the mystery…because she would chime in with a “technical hint” unsolicited within seconds if we solved the clue but there was a technical or mechanical issue.

I wish I could give breakout room and Lizzi more than 5 stars!!! The five is us had a fantastic time. Our adventure was full of suspense and laughter. Racing the clock, searching for clues, the hour flew by. We did the Museum Heist and the art work, the museum pieces made us feel like we were locked in a Museum. We made it out by the skin of our teeth 59 minutes 26 seconds. We had so much fun we came back and did the Clue game. Eli was a great game master and again we had more than a five star experience!!! Breakout Games should be at the top of your list for fun and adventure! Get there before the clock runs out!
