My husband and I usually go to a different location and the food and service there has always been top notch. I can't say the same for this one. My husband ordered a pizza-- a champ with no green peppers. My go-to is the open face pizza hoagie. It clearly says on the menu, "topped with pepperoni, pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese." When our order was brought out, my husband's pizza was fixed as ordered. However, in addition to pepperoni, my hoagie also had onions, green peppers, and green and black olives. I remarked that mine was supposed to have pepperoni only, to which the server stated, "No, that's how it comes." I'm not one to argue and we didn't have time for me to re-order, so I asked for a to-go box so that my husband would have it for lunch the next day. A few minutes later she came back and said they had a cheese pizza that a customer didn't want and asked if I wanted it. I said sure. I should have asked for more info, but I didn't, otherwise I would have said no. She brought a cheese pizza with thin crust and dropped it off. I am a thick crust lover, but given that I was starving at the time, I ate a couple pieces. She brought to-go boxes and as she laid the check down, she stated that she had discounted the pizza 50%...the pizza I didn't order, mind you. Sensing that I was about to lose my cool, my husband said it is what it is, paid the check and we left. Now, I am not one that subscribes to the belief that the customer is always right...my parents own a bar & grill and I grew up working in the food service industry, the customer can most certainly be wrong. But in this instance, the customer was right. I don't like most pizza toppings, hence the reason I like the open face hoagie. So to be told "that's how they come," was an insult. If that's how this location makes them, then your menu needs to be corrected to reflect the actual toppings instead of telling your customers...
Read moreLet's start by saying I called to place my pick up order and I had a coupon I wanted to use that I received in the mail. After being put on hold for a few minutes I was able to place my order. I ALWAYS let the person know ahead of time that I have a coupon, so I did this time as well. We went over the coupon together and customized things accordingly, adding on 2 garlic butter cups specified for the cheese bread to which the young guy on the phone told me twice to not forget said coupon. My boyfriend went in to retrieve the order and pay, he said karaoke was going on so it was a little noisy and difficult to hear the manager and young guy ringing him up. Apparently that coupon is no longer valid with them despite it not being expired. Instead of getting an XL pizza, 6 wings and cheese bread, now it's an XL pizza and 12 wings for the $24.99 +tax. So I was a little annoyed that wasn't mentioned on the phone when I told read the coupon to him and added the garlic butter for the bread. Pizza was decent, wasn't anticipating thin crust since it was our first time trying them but whatever, luckily we both like thin crust decently enough. The wings though 🤦♀️. We went Buffalo style and they're minature chicken tenders at best. I was being funny when counting out to see if there was actually 12 because one was incredibly small, perhaps fit for a toddler. But yes, that piece was counted as one full one 😆. It's about an 8 minute drive away from us but unfortunately the pizza didn't keep its warmth. Might try again to see how the thicker crust is but personally I was...
Read moreIt’s really, REALLY tough to get FIVE stars out of me for a local pizza place, as I am harder on them than I am the “chains.” (Sorry guys!) I’m sorry I don’t have any pics— the food was so good, I forgot to take some! First of all, their cheese sticks were probably some of the best I’ve ever had!!! That’s a BOLD STATEMENT TOO!! It was similar to papa Johns cheese sticks, (which I love) but WAAAAYYY BETTER!! They were cheesier, more flavorful, and not as thin— also not super thick… they were just perfect! I also LOVED the BBQ chicken pizza!! Wow 🤩!! SO much meat on there-I was just shocked how delicious everything was. My husband got pepperoni and he LOVED his too!! It’s at least a 15-20 min drive for us, but we’ll be making it again!! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem In our amazing city 🌃!! (I’ll come back with...
