Well after reading the post before me I'm glad they had food today 8/23/21. Apon driving up I was greeted by what may have been considered an unfriendly "how can I help you!" By who I believe to be Lisa as shown on my receipt I didn't respond as I was looking at the Menu... I don't go out to eat very often and it takes me a minute to decide what I want... No cars behind me and it was after 2 pm so no lunch rush. To which I get another rude "HELLO! how can I help you!" Reply: "Just a minute I'm looking at the menu"... "Okay I would like a ...Blizzard and a #3" Lisa: "Okay what kind of drink?" Me: "Just the Blizzard would be fine" I don't think they give a discount for blizzard's if it's part of your combo but I really didn't need a drink also" Lisa: "Just the Blizzard then?!" Me: "Yes and a # 3" Lisa: "The combo comes with fries and a drink so what do you want to drink?" Me: (eyes frantically searching the menu to find a list of drink options) "a lemonade" Lisa: "OKAY $14.39" (Really all her replies should be in all caps she was practically yelling at me but I understand it's good to speak up at the drive thru just don't have to sound so rough and abrupt"... The man at the window was very nice asked me if I wanted condiments answered me politely when I asked if "SHE was the Manager" told me to have a nice rest of the day and I left... Read moreI think I’ve paid more for food I didn’t receive than I have for every purchase made at this location. This has probably been the 6th time I’ve ordered something simple from this DQ that has been completely screwed up. I’ve asked for a side of toast and gravy with my order 5 different times, only for it to not be in the bag but definetly on my receipt. Tonight, I ordered a cookie dough blizzard with cheesecake just to get an unmixed, vanilla blizzard with about 7 pieces of cookie dough on top. This location is ridiculously bad when it comes to quality and I’d held back for a few years (yes…years) on writing a review, but after a stressful day and wanting to wind down with a treat, I’ve had enough.
The location on shelbyville road is much better than this one, putting lids on their blizzards and continuing to turn them upside down in front of you. Seeing the other reviews on this location lets me know that it’s not just my bad luck but that some quality training or SOMETHING needs to happen here because at this point, y’all owe ME money.
No, DQ, I will not be giving this location another chance. I honestly wish I’d gone back for my money instead of brushing it off every time trying to give the benefit of the doubt but y’all need help. Care about your customer, train your people, stop screwing...
Read moreWe entered the restaurant at 9:45 PM. The counter clerk young lady was very upset that we had entered. After the counter clerk consulted a coworker she quickly left the counter to lock both entrances. The counter clerk then proceeded to tell the customers at the counter that the kitchen was closed. I inquired if they had just 1 order of French fries. Her reply was NO! I stated that my grandchildren have peanut and dairy allergies. My 3 year old grandchildren would have been content with an order of fries. The counter clerk still stated that the kitchen was closed! I was able to order my grandchild a small cup of water. In my opinion when a place of business is open and 12 people are standing in the order line you take their orders and provide service! By the way it took us 20 minutes to place and receive our order of ice cream and ice water. At 10:05 we received our order. Despite the rude customer service we were very respectful and ate our ice cream outside at the outside picnic tables. I made sure we cleaned up properly also.
