So I thought I would try this restaurant that’s new to my area in the first day that I called they couldn’t even take my order on the phone they were too busy and I had to hang up on them I thought maybe they were having a bad day and I called back the next day to try again the lady on the phone can barely hear me because they have the Mexican music up so loud in the restaurant and I have to scream at her I place an order for three tacos and when I get there they were overcharged me by $1.25 and they don’t want to tell me what the price is on the phone I found it interesting when I get back to my workplace I am disappointed with my food I have no plastic fork And I was disappointing with my food I just ordered some soft chicken tacos and thought that would be something fairly interesting but what I got was tacos that were all soggy just chicken cilantro and onions no tomatoes cheese or anything else I was disappointed the food was mediocre and their...
Read moreI’m rooting for any restaurant in Plainview to succeed, but I was disappointed in this one. Vallarta has only been open for two weeks, but they have a LOT of work to do if they hope to compete with the other Mexican restaurants in the area. The chicken had good flavor but it was overall just gloppy. My beans and rice were cold.
The margaritas were very generic. Tasted like any mix you can buy at the grocery store. Service was fine. Not sure...

My friend and I were the only non-Latinos in the restaurant, so I think that means the food is authentic! A guitar-playing trubador was serenading a couple in the next room. Our waitress spoke only Spanish, but the menu is printed in English, so if you have forgotten your high school Spanish pointing will work just fine. Excellent margaritas. Wonderful food in a charming atmosphere. Competitive prices. I will...
