Been coming here for years and some new guy named Lucas that couldn’t do his job walked off from me saying I was being hostile. He went over to a group of people and they all turned to me and I asked Jacob the so called manager is he going to let him talk about me like that. He went on to say that he’s just telling the GM about the issue which was a lie. They checking to see if the policy changed since I’ve been going here and the customers behind me asked what was going on. I said they can’t do their job correctly, bad customer service because how he walk away from me talking and asking questions as if I’m yelling and cussing. Just stupid. Jacob then proceeds to tell me that if I keep talking about his employees I’ll have to leave. I said when did I talk about them, you called him stupid. I said just stupid! The situation is stupid, what happened is stupid, but you couldn’t correct your employee from walking away with an attitude with me! I guess because I’m black I have to be hostile. We can agree to disagree but that doesn’t mean I’m yelling or cussing. He said what he did and so did I. I really don’t appreciate the way I was just treated. Out of all the times I’ve been to this location and the new location never had I had a problem with this nor act as if I was a threat to someone. He asked me to leave and I told him to call the police because I’m sure if they ran the cameras back they will see what was say and how. Read moreEdited: I am very impressed with the renovations done at this theater. It is beautiful and clean with comfy reclining seats. I love being able to purchase tickets in advance with assigned seating. The bathrooms are bright and clean as well. I'm so happy to have a nice movie theater in Jonesboro. Thank you Malco! . . . . . .
The employees at this location are very nice, but that's the only good thing I can say about this theater. The floors are thick with stickiness and I would be afraid to see the seats with the lights on.
The layout of the building makes no sense. If you are on the right of the building, you have to walk all the way across the lobby, through the lines at the concession stand, to get to a restroom. You miss a lot of your movie because of this.
We watched IT this weekend- the top box office movie this week, and they were showing the movie in one of their tiniest theaters. We got there 30 minutes before the previews started, but it was so full already that our group of four had to sit apart.
It's disappointing that Malco neglects this theater so much, bc I when I lived in Memphis I always enjoyed Malco theaters. Hopefully they will clean...
Read moreMy husband and I went to see Avengers and two kids ran up and down the stairs, talked the entire time and were completely disrespectful. We told the staff, other patrons alerted the staff. They came once and told them to be quiet. They didn't stop. In fact got progressively worse. When we explained to the manager, Sarah, afterward our frustration and asked for a refund. She said we couldn't get a refund because we finished the movie and had we "alerted them to the problem they could have addressed it." Then in the next breath she stated "when I came in there they weren't talking." Multiple people got up to complain. An officer on duty also stated he saw the kids being disrespectful when he came in after a complaint. It makes little sense that we would have to leave the movie completely, not finish it in order to get a refund. As usual, this movie theater is a disappointment. If not for the fact there isn't another theater within 30 miles of Jonesboro i doubt ANYONE would go here to...
