Center Street Villas - Two Bedroom Suites — Attraction in Joshua Tree

Location is superb to Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, Landers, 29Palms and Landers.

Layout of home and inside interior and space is warm. The price for a last minute trip was high value. Welcome book is detailed and appreciated. Fully stocked linens, seasonings, and dishes. A/C worked well but it was only 80°

I'm in the "meh" vibe of recommending in the future. If you're planning ahead, choose elsewhere. If you're planning last minute within a week you'll be okay and comfortable. If the recommendations for noncost property improvement occured, I would definitely rebook.

Exterior of home is shady and makes you wonder if you reserved a palatable vacation home. Lower working class neighborhood yet very quiet. Creaking roofs.

Home is very neat yet fairly clean. Fixtures are updated. Decor is warmth and unimpressive. It is evident that this is an IKEA furnished vacation home.

Mattress pads and comforters smelled like smoke so I changed them out. Window locks should be available for various comfort levels. Soap and shampoo was not stocked. Dusty floors and wood furnishings. Dirty doors and light switches. Front and back patio furniture should be trashed. Entry light on side door not operable. Light fixtures need cleaning. Bathroom walls and doors need cleaning and repainting.  Owners are aloof. Remotes need to be operable. I know I can walk and change television but this is why...

Overall experience was fairly decent. When we arrived we questioned if we had entered the correct address because of the neighbourhood. When we arrived we hadn't received a code to open the keylock. Luckily the door was unlocked when we arrived. After a quick call we figured out the code and we were all set. Minor improvements: You have 3 TV's but only 1 is operable, the other 2 aren't connected to cable and there was no remote. The couch was a pain to sit on, even sitting in the plastic childrens chair felt better. The house wasn't cleaned properly, the floors were dirty, although understandable because we are in the middle of the dessert. Being Dutch the showerhead was positioned way too low, I had to crouch to wash my hair. Overall the experience was decent and it was very close to the National park, which is...

Center Street Villas is a very nice place to stay.

I'd like to give a heads up about the window blinds... The heat is so intense in Joshua Tree that it appears to have slightly melted and sagged the window blinds, so that's not so appealing.

Look past that minor detail and this is a very nice place to stay. We had a group of five people, so the kitchen, the large living room the patio with a fire pit made it a very nice stay.

Other reviews complain there is no internet service, this is true, but still... I would be happy to book this place again. Still five...
