Juneau Artists Gallery Ltd — Attraction in Juneau

I bought the most beautiful aquamarine necklace from this charming gallery (made by Jayne Andreen), it just epitomised Alaska for me, but when I checked out my carrier bag burst, instead of helping me repair it, the wonderful man at the counter (Rick?) gave me a new handmade bag (made by Tailfeathers) emblazoned with images of salmon, as a gift! He will never understand what this kind and generous gesture meant to me, and I will always remember him and his talented artists in this fabulous place whenever I wear the necklace and use the bag!...

I used to visit an art gallery in Juneau most weeks when the ship docked (often on a Tuesday in the early 1990's as I worked on cruise ships then). I don't know if it's still there.

It was always a good way to spend some time off (from my busy schedule on the ship). A walk and wander around Juneau. I used to chat with the artist (Weimer, I think was his name) at the art gallery sometimes and bought some art (which I still have). ...
