I bought the most beautiful aquamarine necklace from this charming gallery (made by Jayne Andreen), it just epitomised Alaska for me, but when I checked out my carrier bag burst, instead of helping me repair it, the wonderful man at the counter (Rick?) gave me a new handmade bag (made by Tailfeathers) emblazoned with images of salmon, as a gift! He will never understand what this kind and generous gesture meant to me, and I will always remember him and his talented artists in this fabulous place whenever I wear the necklace and use the bag!...
