Alaska Robotics Gallery — Attraction in Juneau

We stopped in a few board game stores around Juneau and Ketchikan, and the Alaska Robotics Gallery — though small — was easily our favorite. You’re greeted by eclectic music (J-Pop, I think we only heard J-Pop), and are surrounded by graphic novels and art poking fun at local politics and problems, and the center aisle is piled high with a variety of board games: some mainstream, some so obscure that even my husband had to look them up. This place is the best place. It's responsible for bringing so much character and joy into the community it's almost impossible to believe how tiny it is. If you don't read comics, do read them.
