I really like this arena. There’s not a bad seat in the house. Concrete building with old theater decorations and markings. Seating areas flow counter clockwise starting from the north side 101/201, west 110/210, south 119/219, east 128/228 before finishing back north at 136/236. First, second floors are aptly named by their hundreds beginning. The ramp does take you to the top (like a faux third floor), but it is the top of the 2nd floor section. This build does link into the underground tunnel system that goes to the convention center and various hotels. The south side entrance wasn’t open for the event I was attending, but on the north side (or the side that opens to the underground parking and park area above ground) to utilize the underground tunnels there are stairs to your left or east side of the entry way that will take you down below. After walking down the stairs you’ll take a u-turn and proceed to the doors. From there, there are plenty of signs to guide. To sum up, I love this old building....

Security sucks, especially the young boy with the big hair who swears he's Top-notch security, had someone who uses an electric wheelchair and needed to park close to get the wheelchair ramp down on the curb, this guy came out hollering we can't park there, which there was no other spot to put her the ramp on. When we got there we had no problem the employees even helped but this clown comes out while leaving the event like we're going to move in the middle of getting the disabled person in the vehicle. No sir, little boy we're going to stay until we finish, now go back in there and have a seat until we're done.

Get better security for the weekend Municipal, however the event was fine for the...

Went to see the R&B Love tour on 4-5-25 for for my birthday and was absolutely disappointed with this venue. During the whole concert, the sound was awful or not working at all, one artist didn't show up and the other artists seemed like their sets were rushed, it started late and had some unknown artists fill in. One the main artist Tyrese started, they rushed his set, messed up his sound, his mic. We paid to see Tyrese!!!! Not 5 minutes of Tyrese. When called to inquire about a refund they flat out said no. I keep giving this place another chance but not anymore. I hope these promoters use other venues than this place. It's not...

I remember my mother bringing me here for the circus every year. I remember coming here to see the Harlem Globetrotters and my dad bringing me to the NAIA basketball tournament every year. I used to work security in this building when UMKC was playing basketball games there a few years ago. I got a free ticket to go see the KC GOATS play arena football and loved being in the building again.

Spelled congratulations incorrectly, we called them to let them know. They did not care until the school district called and finally changed it an hour before graduation. They rushed us out as soon as graduation was over and didn’t let us take pictures or congratulate other graduates and families. Thank you for taking the joy out of our kids graduation. Unacceptable!!!
