I love this park. Definitely a quiet gem. The weather is Pleasant I think it has something to do with the planes landing and taking off. It has a great open space so you can play with dogs, take pictures, have a picnic, or just throw around a ball or frisbee. I love the walking paths that are there. They're great for kids with Scooters or taking a nice leisurely walk around the park. I love the covered area it's spacious as well to eat or socialize with friends the playground is really nice as well. The fact that there are clean on site bathroom facilities is also a plus. If I had to have one complaint, it would be the turf for the playground. It's mulch so be prepared to have lots and lots of mulch pieces in your kids' shoes. I wish it could have been the soft Turf that they have at Mud Creek or other neighboring play areas. But all in all really good Park. Also great parking spacious parking spaces and close to the park amenities. Although it's on the corner a rather busy corner, I didn't find it too loud or annoying to be there and I said on one of the many benches that backs up to the street. I was able to carry on a good conversation with friends with no issue...
Read moreThis is a neat Park. My toddler loves airplanes, so it's really exciting for him to see and hear the airplanes going over head. The park is brand new and very clean. All the equipment is in good condition. There are no slides or traditional playground equipment here, other than a swing set. Instead they have ropes and bars and an electronic light-up game. It's a pretty cool alternative to the playgrounds you find everywhere else. It encourages kids to use their imagination. The only negative about this park is that the parking is about a two-minute walk away from the actual playground. So if you have a little one you may have to carry them or bring a stroller. There are also bathroom facilities on site. If you're passing by, check it out. You won't be...
Read moreBeautiful space to hang out. The playground has a wide variety of things to do for kids. The large grassy area is great for flying kites, frisbee, etc., with a great view of planes coming into McCollum. The bathrooms are very nice as well, but that's to be expected with a new complex. There are only 4 tables underneath the cabana, definitely not enough for the size of the park, so keep this is mind if you're wanting to host a party. Also, the grassy area, as beautiful as it is, is in between the parking lot and playground/cabana/bathrooms, so the walk from your car to the playground is around 80 yards. All in all, this is a great park and nice addition to Kennesaw. Perfect...
