Short review: prompt service, quickly received food, good food with quality ingredients, friendly service. Solid 4.5 stars. Get the ramen noodles!! I would also like to note that 18% gratuity was added to our family's bill. Our family includes two adults and four children 15 and under, so I assume it is added to parties of 6 or more. Detailed review for those who are into that sort of thing: Walked in at 8:15 on a Saturday night after walking away from two other nearby restaurants with hour+ waits. We were just passing through and wanted somewhere we could be sat right away. The menu is a little difficult to navigate if you aren't familiar with Vietnamese cuisine but our server was more than happy to offer some helpful recommendations and describe specific dishes to us. Both appetizers we chose, Vietnamese egg rolls and fried pork wontons, were very good. Our son loved and inhaled his drunken noodles with brisket. Husband and I tried it and liked the dish itself, but would personally have chosen a different protein. Daughter's shrimp Thai fried rice was good, not overly flavorful or special, but very light with fresh ingredients. Hubby and I shared a large brisket and filet mignon pho bowl. This, plus one wonton and egg roll app each would have been plenty of food if we had liked it and finished it. Unfortunately we both agreed there was too overpowering a taste of either cloves or star anise and even with a few additions of the sauces on the table we decided it just wasn't for us. This was our first time eating pho so maybe that's normal and just isn't to our liking. Now on to the star of the table. If you love big, bold flavors, then I highly suggest the ramen noodles dish (not the soup, although this could be good, too, we just didn't try it). We chose shrimp for the protein but I'm sure it would be good with any option. For an extra yummy addition, ask for lime wedges and bean sprouts (I think these came with our pho but they were very good with the noodles). It is a bit peppery, but my 8 year old who is very sensitive to anything with pepper devoured it. They were so good I tried to order another one to go but unfortunately the kitchen had already stopped taking orders (they stop fifteen minutes before closing time for reference). All the food arrived quickly after ordering, around 5-10 minutes after. Servers were polite and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and offered adequate seating accommodations. Overall we think we lucked out with the restaurant lotto! Sometimes trying new things works in your favor and I'd say it definitely did this time!

Update - decided to go back after 4 years and the food was still delicious and they played quiet background music which made it a much better experience. Got the grilled pork chops with rice and Pad Thai. Both were great! My family and I went here this past Sunday and we had an okay experience. The food overall was pretty good. The Thai green curry, the beef short ribs with rice, and the garden roll were tasty. Unfortunately for us, the Pho broth had too much star anise flavor to it which was overpowering so we couldn't finish it. The crispy egg rolls seemed like they had been fried and sitting under a heat lamp because they did not taste fresh. Like another reviewer said, it was just barely warm on the inside. They really need to fry these on demand so they taste better. Also, I think the egg rolls need some more vegetables like mushrooms, shrimp, onions, etc... in it to give it more depth of flavor. It's very one note with all that pork in it. Another problem we had was that the waiter that we had wasn't very personable but he was attentive. He barely said a word to us besides taking our order. The biggest problem we had and the reason we will not be coming back to try the food again is because of the music. It was too loud and some of the songs had explicit lyrics in them. It seemed like it was pa shuffled playlist because the music genres were all over the place. They need to take the songs with the explicit lyrics out of the rotation. There were a lot of families there with children so it was very inappropriate. They did finally turn down the music half way through our lunch and one of the waitresses there would sometimes skip some of the songs that had explicit lyrics. It was just a weird experience and because of it we won't be back.

We were in the area looking for a place to have a late dinner and we find them. I was hesitant because I used to go to a vietnamese restaurant that unfortunately is close now but it was a great place. Anyhow we decided to give it a try and food was great. We started with 2 orders of spring rolls, one with shrimp and another with pork, and the later was way better than the first. For dinner we got the lemongrass something with shrimp, and a bun(rice vermicelli) with pork and both items were very flavorful. We also order Thai tea which was good but a bit to sweet. After all we enjoy having dinner here but why I only give 3*?. Well we were greeted right away at the door and took immediately to our table about 30 minutes before they close and a server(female) brought ice water for everyone without any of us ordering it and we politely ask to get water no ice and the server didn't like it at all. Then they have a code to scan the menu and I am okay with that, the problem is I couldn't see the menu, I don't know if the problem was with my phone but it seems like they are aware of issues with the menu, so another server(male) came a lot nicer and offer paper menus. He even help us with the order and recommendations. Bottom line if they will fix the menu issues and the first server attitude I would have rated better but, like I said, our overall experience was good!

My family and I went to 575 Bistro in hopes of trying some awesome pho as we've been on the hunt for a good pho spot in Kennesaw for a while. a

When we arrived we were seated immediately, although we didn't know we were being seated because the host/server didn't really say much after I told him there was 3 of us in our party. He just started walking off with menus in his hand - I had to ask for clarification if we were supposed to be following him.

We were brought out waters right away from the guy who seated us, which was great. But after about 5 minutes, we still hadn't been asked if we'd like to order anything like appetizers, etc. I decided to stop one of the servers walking by and ask how much longer before our server would be to our table. He looked pretty annoyed and said, "we're busy, do you know what you want to order?" There were maybe 6 other tables seated, and 2 more parties that had arrived between the time we sat down and me asking this question - they were not busy at all. Maybe short staffed, but not busy.

Hesitantly, I told him what we wanted to start with and he said okay and went to the computer to put the order in. The attitude and lack of attentiveness was really off-putting (maybe it's because I've worked in a restaurant before so I expect a certain level of customer service). While he was still typing the order in, my husband walked over and told him to cancel everything and we got our son and walked out.

As much as I had been looking forward to trying this place out, I was highly disappointed. Luckily we were in the same plaza as Iron Age (which we had never tried before either) and had an amazing meal there instead! We've already added it to our go-to list of date night places :) So maybe it was fate, but we won't ever go back to 575...
