EDIT: Stephen, yes, a full refund in EXCHANGE for my husband's wedding band. Which is also when you mentioned that if we exchanged the ring for a full refund, that the ring would be destroyed. Obviously, DGS has no concept of what sentimental value is. You can say that you have tried everything you can do to make us happy, but that is not true. There has been absolutely no compensation offered (other then exchanging the ring for a full refund, just to have it destroyed). The reason we did not give a call back to Stephen is because he was more concerned about us taking down the negative reviews (he even stated that we need to take down the reviews before the refund is completed). I refuse to take it down because others need to be aware that DGS does not take customer satisfaction seriously. It is ridiculous that we have given DGS so much business (we have even referred friends to you) just for Stephen to offer a full refund in EXCHANGE for my husband's ring. DGS is not associated with Novell anymore because they have had other customers complain about this company as well. If DGS is aware that Novell is not a reputable company, don't you think that DGS would do everything they can to correct the mistakes that Novell has caused? Considering that DGS are the ones who chose to sell Novell products in the first place. Numerous staff at DGS have even said that the wedding band looks nothing like the picture. How can you advertise and sell a product that is not what someone paid for? Then offer a full refund in EXCHANGE for the wedding band that has sentimental value as well custom engraving. I honestly cannot believe that the reply that we received was such a generic response that still does not resolve the issue at hand; the same response was even copied and pasted on my husband's review. There was no genuine apology, there was no compensation, and DGS has done nothing to resolve the issue. I am extremely disappointed in how this situation was handled.
My husband and I loved D. Geller & Son, but after this last experience we will never be back. I purchased my husband’s engagement ring (the maker is Novell) and it was over $1,500. Once the ring arrived, it looked nothing like the picture. We were told to give it a few years for the ring to wear down a little in order to match the picture. Well, come two years later, the ring still did not look like what we ordered. We came into D. Geller and had them send the ring out to Novell two more times and it still looked nothing like the picture. We were told that there was nothing else they could do. My husband made a review of our experience and we were promptly contacted by D. Geller; which you think would be a good thing. Whomever we spoke with made it known that their reviews are very important to them. He stated that he would give us a full refund in exchange for my husband’s wedding band. Of course, we said no because that was the ring we used to exchange our vows; even though it wasn’t what we paid for, it has sentimental value. In total, for my wedding band, engagement ring, a necklace, and my husband’s wedding band, we have spent over $12,000 at D. Geller & Son. I would like to say that they take care of their customers, but that is not the truth with us. Their main concern does not seem to be customer satisfaction; instead, it’s...
Read moreHad the most amazing experience at D. Geller & Son. My fiancé and I were looking for engagement / wedding rings. He had previously bought from Shane company and wanted start there. We went to the one in Alpharetta. I already reviewed pictures online and printed four rings that I wanted to see. Upon showing the photos to the gentleman assisting us he looked and took us to the counter and pulled out two of the rings and said “you do understand they don’t look like they do in the picture”. That was an understatement. They look nothing like they did in the picture. The main one I wanted to see they didn’t have at that location. I ask if he had another location he said maybe they have it but did not offer to call. By the end of the experience it was exhausting. High pressure sales. He kept trying to up-sale several thousand. He even said all I wanna do is make a sale before you leave. The next day I was looking at rings online at D. Geller & Son. I saw several that I liked. I also noticed they had 0% financing for 60 months. I went ahead and prequalified. I received a phone call from a very sweet young lady named Cecelia. She asked if there was anything particular I was looking for and I told her engagement/wedding rings. I told her a little bit about what I was looking for. I told her I would be by around 3:30 p.m. She ask what location and I told her either the Atlanta or the Kennesaw location. She said we look forward to assisting you. I happen to ask what location she worked and she said Kennesaw I said that actually works better for me we live in the area. But not once did she try to persuade me to go to one location or another she just appreciated that I was stopping by. When I arrived I was greeted by a big smile with an are you Kimberly? From that moment on the experience was amazing. Cecelia always kept my target budget in mind. She worked with me for a few hours showing me so many different combinations picking out different things I liked from each. I was communicating with my fiancé via telephone and sending pictures getting his input as he was still at work. I ended up with the most amazing engagement/wedding set. It was more than I imagined. What an amazing experience from Cecilia and D. Geller & Son. Save yourself time and headache if you’re considering going elsewhere. Start with D. Geller & Son. If you’re at the Kennesaw location ask for Cecilia she is amazing! Thank you Kimberly and Rick customers...
Read morePretty disappointed in the ring I received. My wife paid over $1,500 for my wedding ring and it doesn't look nearly like the website image. When I originally received the ring, I made it known that the product didn't match the website.. I was told to wait a few years and once it wears down a bit it would look more desirable.. two years later and it looks the same. D Geller sent the ring back to the company to have it re-finished, yet it still doesn't resemble the photo.. I am now being told there's nothing they can do about it.. If I knew that from the beginning we would have went somewhere else. I don't think it's fair to have a customer pay that much money to receive something that doesn't match what they display and no resolution..
In response to your last message... I am quite confused as to how you think D Gellar and Son has done everything in their power to make me a happy customer? They simply sent the ring to the company, asked them to resolve the issue and make the ring match the websites photo.. ring was returned and it still doesn’t look right. D Geller then told me there’s nothing else they can do.. After I posted this review expressing my dissatisfaction I received a call from the GM. First sentence out of his mouth was how important reviews are to them... not the greatest way to start a conversation. He then proceeded to offer a solution - return my ring for a full refund. Ok, come on now... this is the very ring my wife and I promised our vows with.. plus she had if custom engraved.. even if it doesn’t meet my expectation OR match the websites photo, it still has sentimental value! Have some sympathy. Not to mention, he said they would go back to the company and have them pay for it... so basically I was given the option to return my ring (lose something special to me and not have a wedding band anymore) and D Geller would then contact the company and get a refund for their purchase... how is that the slightest bit fair? I also ended the phone conversation with Stephen stating that I was not willing to give up something that was that important to me... even if I look at it every day in...
