My first visit to this theater and it was just beyond poor. I saved $5 by not going to Fairchild cinemas which have comfortable recliner seating and a facility that is upkept. To start I signed up for the amc stubs rewards got a pizza and the guy at concessions didnāt ask me or anyone about the rewards which is not great, you need to promote your programs as itās a disservice, my friend wanted to see Long legs and let me have the points which for the second time the guy didnāt ask about the rewards so I asked how I get points and he acknowledged he didnāt ask and wrote down my rewards number. I thought the issue was felt with and went to theater 9 for the movie, next I was thirsty and went to the restroom at the end of the hall, both water fountains didnāt work so I was forced to drink from the bathroom sink as I was extremely thirsty (disgusting) the bathroom needed repair, the sink counter was pulling up and was full of lime scale and needed cleaning one sink didnāt work, during the movie the seats were comfy but not adjustable so youāre at a 90 degree angle, the seat arm rest cups were sticky and had noticeable debris. Overall I had a very poor experience and have still not received any rewards points itās been 3 days, this theater I read was great at one point but is obviously lacking in employee training and facility maintenance. Iād encourage management to do better otherwise obviously it will affect profits. I honestly have to recommend going to Fairchild cinemas as they are overall better trained, better cleaned and the facilities are in working order. Thereās a lot of wasted space at this AMC a remodel of the lobby to include an arcade like most other cinemas have could generate additional revenue and improving maintenance and employee training will help with bringing in business no one wants to go to a dying business and this place looks like itās going into the ground if you really pay attention. I was grossed out and fir my first impression would urge others to stay away the $5 savings is not worth it in my opinion. If I go here again and see improvements Iāll update but this was just...

First impression:
Having been to Carmike prior to the change of ownership to AMC, I expected an upgrade, there wasn't one. They have added two choose-your-own soda machines at the cost of two register spaces where normal food could be purchased. This would be fine for small crowds, but with only one quarter of the parking lot full, this created a significant line behind the soda machines AND the counter to get movie snacks. This meant that after getting food, you had to wait in ANOTHER LINE to get your drink. Pretty inefficient.
Theater:
Seats are still exactly the same as they were with Carmike. Still have the old logo and everything. Still cramped and non-competitive with every other theater currently in business.
The feature:
This was my biggest gripe. 30 effing minutes of commercials, no breaks, AFTER the established time the movie was supposed to begin. If that wasn't enough, they kept advertising their 20 dollar a month movie pass (The A List) every 10 minutes. After the commercials FINALLY finished it was time for 30 minutes of previews. And again, every 10 minutes AMC advertised their stupid membership. The movie THEN had a false open, with the cast "thanking the audience" for watching and littering the end of the commercial with a hashtag likely related to AMC. I mean, COME ON! I literally held my head in my hands wondering when this was going to stop. The movie FINALLY started, about 1 full hour after the listed time. I am beyond frustrated at the theater and will definitely relay this story to others.
Overall, it was terrible. Go ANYWHERE...

Reading some of the other reviews makes me wonder if we all went to the same theater. This was the only theater in the area that had the movie playing I was eager to see, so I had no choice but to come here.
Can't reserve seating online? No biggie. I'll just show up early. Seats are old-school and uncomfortable? Also no biggie, I'll live. It's just a couple hours for a movie. Food is overpriced? It's a movie theatre, that's life.
The part that gets me . . . This place was a dump. Food all over the floors, sticky spots randomly spread throughout. Even the air felt dingy. There was a broken seat in the theatre that added a nice touch to the already shamefuly dirty venue. Yes, the ticket was cheap but you definitely get what you pay for in this case. OK, cool the movie is starting? NOPE, not before they remind you 50 times that you are at AMC classic and you need to join A-list. Seriously, so many ads I thought I was in some sort of comedic social experiment video, and some dude was gonna pop out and tell me it was a prank. . . The lights dim and the screen seemed discolored and the audio was just okay. Could hear the A/C roaring to turn on several times during the movie, almost like it was struggling to start up. I'm pretty sure I heard people audibly laughing at the A/C struggling to start up. It kinda killed the immersion at times.
Overall I feel like it's reasonable to say this place is pretty gross and if the movie you want to see is showing at another theatre you should just...
