Very Beautiful Episcopalian Church built in Key West in the early 1800's!! It has survived a few fires and a few hurricanes and had to be rebuilt along with the rectory... I attended a church service here this morning and it was just wonderful.... they had the Bishop in town for the whole area as their main Pastor is retiring to the mainland in Florida after serving here for 10 years ...the people were very friendly and the music was very profound and made you think and the sermon was really well done by the Bishop...

I'd characterize the liturgy as mid-high Episcopalian, sans incense but with good choir music. The Rector Donna's sermon was very engaging by joining historical and theological argumentation in presenting the feast of St. Martin of Tours (Nov 11) as the true start of the lenten period of Advent. Read moreI visited this lovely church to light a candle for late daughter. I always like to light a candle for her when travelling , plus it was the 2 year anniversary of her passing . The church had some tibetan monks visiting this week. It was the most wonderful experience to hear their chanting and music when we visited . Very fitting too as my daughter felt very connected to Buddhism. The church is beautiful, a little place of solace on the bustling Duval Street. Well...
