We spend $22 dollars (including tip) for two 2-scoop waffle cones. The good: the staff was very nice and the store is okay. The bad: the ice cream! We actually took a few bites, threw them both on the trash and went to Big Bucks to get some decent ice cream. I got a scoop of cotton candy on top of a scoop of bubble gum. The cotton candy just tasted like sweet...nothing. I was just weird and was sweet, but with no real flavor. I bypassed it and tried the bubble gum flavor. It too was odd, kind of tasted like bubble gum, but the pieces of gum in it were just too hard and gross to eat. That was it, I couldn't take anymore. My wife got both scoops of cake batter, which tasted nothing at all like cake batter. She tried to like it for about 2 minutes. At that point, we trashed them, went about 30 seconds down the street to Big Bucks, where the employees were not as nice, but the ice cream tasted like the stated flavor. I will most definitely NOT be going back to Scoops and am honestly really surprised by the number of...
Read moreVanilla ice cream wasn't very good. Kids got the cookie monster ice cream and we got the Butterfinger. Both tasted weird due to the vanilla ice cream I think. Ended up throwing away half which I have never done before. Sad end to the day. Giving 2 stars because they did switch out my daughter's ice cream for free to Butterfinger but didn't occur to me it would have the same vanilla base. Unfortunately I also threw away half of my Butterfinger because of the taste. Did mention to the employee that the vanilla didn't taste anything like vanilla but she didn't really seem to want feedback so I didn't try anymore. Definitely not usually a complainer just want to let others know so they don't get the same as us! Unfortunately wouldn't recommend...
Read moreIce cream was delicious and the waffle cone was fresh…. That’s about all I can say nicely about this establishment. The manager the whole time my family and I ate we overheard him berating a new employee on proper ice cream scooping techniques. Positive criticism is ALWAYS appreciated but it’s a fine line between positive and negative criticism. The way he spoke to the employee it should have been behind closed doors or away from paying customers. Ice cream 10/10.. the owner 1/10. By the end of us leaving he was acting like a six letter D word that’s not appropriate for a review…. Use you’re imagination. (Yes it was the owner because I asked an employee and...
