The concept is great. Great course. Their employees are suspect at best. The team we played against was 14 and 15 year olds and all seven of them had played before. Our group was two adults a 9, 10, and two 11 year olds and only the adults had played before. The employees run the course every day, did they think this was going to be pleasurable for these kids?
At points during the game their team was shooting us as we were crossing out of our base, literally putting their guns through a crevice and waiting for us. I had to yell at the workers to keep their team in check. A saw their team in the tower pull their headbands off. I got to the edge of our base and started shooting and their worker yelled at me for shooting from our base. I yelled back at her that I have no other choice their team is shooting at us while we are in the base. At one point we were at one third their points and since they were getting away with cheating I moved the bucket and I basically had to get their attention that they're not doing their job.
Barely any in depth instructions for the younger players. Literally my kids were dry firing for a whole game and dying and then I had to re-explain to them how the gun works. Like take a couple more minutes to double check they know what they are doing? LIke live action feedback with the gun before going into the arena? Instead I had to spend game time that I paid for to help my child out.
I personally will not go back to this establishment. Its being ran by teenangers and if one team is unwilling to play by the rules, these teenagers will not do anything to stop them. I asked for a refund and the yelled emphatically 'no' to me.
We chose to take our kid here for his birthday and it was a mistake. I would say don't bring anyone younger then 13 or 14 here. They will not have a...
Read moreOn Saturday, May 09 around 4:30pm, your manager used his loudspeaker very close to my ear: "Don't touch the guns!! Don't touch anything! You fool!" The manager on duty with clear Chinese accent was shouting to my ears, and left me there dumbfounded. He sounded like he was a slaveholder shouting to one of his slaves. I asked him, "What are you trying to do? Are you trying to kick me out?" He said, "No, I just want you to know our rules." The management was in chaos, each game was delayed for 20 min to start. Also, the actual playing time of each game was only about 30 min, against the advertised 60 min. This was the most unprofessional and deceiving place I have ever been in years. I am hoping to get an official response from the owner. Update: I received a reply from the owner. He simply told me he's the owner, without giving me his name. He said he does apologize for what happened, but the manager was correct, I was not allowed to touch their guns. He then copied and pasted their rules and regulation for me to read. I have a question for the owner: If your rules and regulation are so important, why don't you post them somewhere in your place? You can at least post a "Do not touch" sign, that won't cost you much. But there was no such warning sign anywhere. The owner also mentioned, the purpose of Google Feedback is for those paid customers to leave their feedbacks, and I was not a paid customer. He said: I left their facility without playing, so my feedback could be misleading. So after I've been treated very rude, and witnessed the long delay before each game, the owner still expected me to pay him $30 and play their game. I can assure to this "owner". Every word I posted here is legit and accurate, there is...
Read moreOur group of about 16 had a great time here. The staff was very professional and explained procedures well. I was most impressed by the way staff handled difficult situations. For example there was a kid(by himself-not with our group or parents, mom was in lobby, in game) put on our team who was a little delayed and the staff was so accommodating. The staff checked in him with him enough to make sure he was good but not so overwhelmingly that he didn't have a good time. The staff is also very encouraging telling us if we were up or down and if we were down, it was not a big deal and we only had x amount to catch up. They also cheered us on which as an adult was cool but my son(12 y/o) just loved the environment they created. My son is literally begging me to have his birthday party there! Just some things to be aware of: 1.We got really really sweaty! Our time to play was 7:00pm on a Saturday, which means that there was also 8 hours of other really really sweaty people using the same equipment. The staff assured us they clean the equipment at least daily and they try to in between games but on the busier days it might not happen which is understandable. Be prepared to go home and shower right after or bring a change of clothes if you have post laser tag activities planned. The arena wasn't very evenly set up. I'm not talking about symmetry but one side usually had a very clear advantage. To offset this they would have teams switch sides and they would change hold points(in the KOTH styled matches) . I think that as time goes on, things will be added or adjusted to the arena to even it out. I found out my aim sucks Super fun and would...
