T.J. Maxx — Attraction in Kirkwood

My recent visit to the TJ Maxx in Kirkwood was less than satisfactory. The store was quite messy, making it difficult to navigate and find what I was looking for. There was a general lack of organization.

Adding to the negative experience was the behavior of a young boy who appeared to be in charge. He was rude and not helpful at all, which only compounded my frustration. Despite spending almost $100 that day, I felt like they were doing me a favor, rather than providing a pleasant shopping experience.

Customer service is a crucial aspect of any shopping experience, and unfortunately, this location fell short in that regard. I won't be returning to this store. I hope they address these issues to improve the shopping experience for...

In short I went to TJ Maxx this evening to buy some cologne for the work week. While browsing the cologne in the men’s section, I got the feeling that someone was watching me. Sure enough I turned around and it was two workers watching me as if I was stealing something. So I looked backed at them and they decided to quickly turn around and act as if they were actually working! Go figure. What bothers me the most was there were two other black workers watching the other two workers watching me. They didn’t even do nothing to help, just stood by and watch. That what sad. Don’t get me started on the cashier who checked me out. She was very rude. I will not spend my money, or support this establishmenti at this location any more....

I only come here for decor, so ignore if you want a review about their clothing.

Sadly, it seems like every year, their selections for holiday decor shrink in size and quality. In previous years, I've purchased metal jack o lanterns or full figure sets of the Rudolph characters. Most recently, their selections have been more like 3 gnomes and pile of barley.

Yes, I'm exaggerating, but I'm also serious: statues with sloppy paint, stuffed "things" with hot glued eyes, bland monochromatic blocks of wood, etc.

I'm hoping they can get their act together before this year's...
