Not a bad way to kill time on a Sunny Saturday! The conductors are very friendly and informative and make sure to note places of interest along the route. It was fun to do a commute in my ancestors mode of transit.
Was a bit disappointed to find that the trolly currently in use contained no relation to, or parts from, Portland’s rich streetcar heritage beyond some styling aspects of the carriage exterior.

Read moreYou can’t go wrong with this one, especially if you have little kids. The trolley is very well kept and excellently run by a set of older and friendly volunteers. We went mid-may and they kept the windows wide open, no glass between you and the outside. It was super comfortable and pleasant. There are a couple of spots where you can get a great view or two, we got lucky with a view of Mt Hood. The trolley is supposed to go all electric, sometime soon?
