The L Beauty Spot and Dry Bar Hair Salon — Attraction in Lake View Township

I’ve been getting my haircuts by Oliver for four years now, since it was “Haircut City”. A few name changes later, and Oliver has perfected the business.

He is very detailed-oriented and listens to what you want in a haircut and style. He will guide you through it and make good conversation along the way. I love the additional hot towel in the winter, cold towel in the summer. It’s a nice touch, and adds some relaxation during your haircut.

The new set-up is great at The L Beauty Spot. Clean place, well-kept, and nice waiting area. Great location under the Diversey Brown Line station.

I went in last week for a cut and color and Oliver absolutely did not disappoint! 10/10 recommend Oliver and his new salon, The L Beauty Spot, is “the spot” to go when it comes to haircutting and coloring. A very professional, unpretentious yet undeniably cool, and extremely accommodating salon that I feel is unique among its many neighbors in the Lakeview/ Lincoln park neighborhood.

Oliver is a master hairstylist in the truest sense of the word. He seems to know everything about hair - from cuts to styling and every tip in between - he will ensure you look your best and provide you with the knowledge and skills to make sure you know how to best care for your hair at home.
