Would you believe me if I told you that the experience of buying a phone could feel exactly like great sex? If not, then you may just need to pay a visit to the Lakewood AT&T store to see what I mean.
From the moment you enter those pristine glass doors, you’re transported to a different dimension. Goodbye Lakewood, hello— mmbetter version of Lakewood! Customer service that would have wowed the likes of Gordon Ramsey or Roger Ebert. Store displays that rival even the finest Genius Bar. And products that made me question whether I was still living in the 21st century at all.
This mecca, this beacon of hope, this bastion of American industry and innovation created such stirrings within me that one day I might just quit my job and start a store of my own. But who am I kidding?? I could never imagine garnering the prestige and honor this store undoubtedly deserves.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t highlight the most important element that lies at the center of this heaven on earth. His name? Steven.
Steven, an industry maverick in his own right, delivered possibly the most exceptional customer experience this side of the Buckeye State has ever known. Dale Carnegie would have wept in awe at his charisma and panache, and while I guarantee you that a man of his ilk would be a perfect gentleman, if you bring your girl along to upgrade her iPhone I can’t guarantee she won’t be throwing herself at him before he can get the words “how can I help you?” out of his mouth.
Because you see, Steven has a truly magnetic quality about him and it’s palpable in the way the rest of the store staff carries themselves as well. You will walk in wanting a phone, you will walk out wanting everyone’s phone number.
I cannot recommend a better store in America — hell, in the world. You won’t regret your time spent here. Just remember to bring a wristwatch, because you may forget what time it is like that part in Percy Jackson where they’re in the casino too long from having so much fun.
I’ll tell you what AT&T stands for:
A - (A) T - (Truly) & - F(and)astic T - (T)experience (this...
Read moreI don't even know where to start explaining how my experience was at this location. The appreciation I have for Nick (I believe he is the manager) is more than I could even describe.
Yesterday when I walked into their location, I'm pretty sure my anxiety/ stress levels were pretty much at max capacity. People that have knowm me for years to experience me in my max capacity anxiety moments hardly even understand a word I say or able to follow and keep up with whats going on🤣 some even think I'm angry and coming at them🤦‍♀️🤣 So when I tell you how impressed I was with Nick and Griffin( can't forget about Griffin!!!) how well and quickly they handled this situation because of just simply amazing Great CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Something I was beginning to loose hope in with today's society. I can't stress enough the humbleness I saw in Nick and his energy with his co-workers. I saw great Team work, he is definitely one of a kind. That's all aside of how amazing his customer service was. He listened and let me actually explain, no interruptions. He made me know that he was there to help. He went above and beyond to help me honestly. I will never leave at&t or ever go to any other location as long as I know Nick is there lol he will always be my safe place when I have phone issues 🤣🤣 Nick's work ethic, positive energy & compassion to just help shows he actually enjoys his job and it's not just a paycheck to him. Thank you again guys for everything you did to help and make sure I eft there happy. Meant the world to me....
Read moreI got locked out of my SIM card. Which was totally my fault. But I’ve been an AT&T customer for many years. So I went into get a new SIM card. Bought and payed for it from Griffin. He programed it. But When he put it in, my phone said no SIM card. From that point I was on my own. He just went and played on his phone while I was on the phone with customer service for 2 hours. Finally the lady at customer service told me I should tell the store worker to try a new SIM card. Griffon said we already put a new SIM card in and that wouldn’t help. Finally the other associate stepped in and came over and allowed me to take the SIM card I just bought out and try and put it in his phone and it didn’t work in his phone either. So I had to buy a second SIM card and they said the one I bought that didn’t work was non refundable and I had to pay for another one. Whatever, at this point I just wanted a new one. So I bought another SIM card louis helped me out and programed it right and it worked. I have worked in customer service often so I’m pretty easy going on workers. But the first guy that assisted me either sold me a faulty SIM card or he didn’t program it right and was not very helpful after that. In fact he seemed annoyed at the situation. And no refund for the first SIM card that don’t work. That was unbelievable.
I’m not sure if this is policy. But it seems like this store is only concerned About selling new service and if you’re an existing customer who already bought a phone there they are not there...
