I can say based on personal experience no they aren't cheaper (anymore) and the "cheap" products they carry break down extremely fast costing you more in the long run. I also have a major problem with shipping Walmart online. They somehow think they are Amazon now so when you shop online you might be buying from a private seller although it's not very clear if you are buying from Walmart or someone else.
