Cons: filthy, deliberately rude staff, no accommodations. Pros: puzzles are good, 4/5. Sets are great, 5/5.
We had a 2:00 experience, but the email stated arrive between 1:00 and 2:00. If you get this instruction, know they want you there 20 minutes early for check-in. That might seem like a long time for check-in, put a pin in that thought
Upon arrival, my wife started off by asking to use the restroom, which was obviously a problem for the staff to accommodate due to metered entry. The bathroom light was on a motion sensor and turned off while she was in the stall. The bathroom was filthy, the cleaning log said it had not been taken care of in 3.5 months. (7/16-11/2)
The staff was not only ineffective, they were deliberately unhelpful. The staff not only refused to answer direct questions, but lied to us. This seems to be an attempt to role play but we were clearly confused and wanted direction, but were not getting it. We finally went back outside and let the night watchmen and the receptionist talk, and they finally let us in and gave us direct answers.
The receptionist told us we still owed a $7.50 balance. When we said we paid online she mumbled “what are you going to do about it?” meaning the balance due. We pulled up the receipt in the email and suddenly she said she was just kidding. It was not done in a playful way. If that was a joke, it was not funny. I was very angry.
The whole check-in process took 30 minutes, unbelievably long, which is why they want you here early. It was at this time 30 minutes before our 2:00 that I decided I hate it here. We then sat in anger in the lobby for the next 30 minutes listening to the receptionist be the worst person possible to every single customer coming in.
Finally, just before 2 o’clock, they said if anybody needs to use the bathroom to do so now. I went to the bathroom again, they took my group without me.
Inside, during the safety video, they claimed staff would “accommodate” guests if anything made them uncomfortable. That promise was broken quickly. In one room, a player declined to crawl through a dark, tight tunnel, and the actor refused to let anyone else take her place. We couldn’t continue until she reluctantly did it. It was uncomfortable and completely unnecessary.
Every actor screamed the entire time. You can be loud for effect, but this was nonstop yelling in small rooms. I left with a headache.
The puzzles themselves were decent. I’d give them four out of five. A few didn’t work properly, and pacing was uneven. Sometimes we were rushed, sometimes stuck waiting. Staff encouraged teamwork but then scolded us for talking through puzzles aloud. One puzzle involved moldy, rotting wood and dirty water guns. I got splashed in the hair and it was disgusting.
The only redeeming quality was the set design. Genuinely impressive, five out of five. Everything else...
Read moreI never give negative reviews… This 1 star should be a negative 5… and it’s solely for one guide (Bee)… If not for her I would have given a positive 5… And reading through other reviews, it seems she’s been ruining experiences for tons of paying customers… She obviously is not fit for any type of customer service.
First off, the production quality is really great. I don’t intend for my rating to reflect that or to reflect the rest of the staff.
Bee was BEYOND rude. She was unprofessional with a horrible attitude who clearly enjoys screaming at all paying costumers.
The thing that I wouldn’t have bothered reviewing was how she would immediately start telling us how to get through the puzzles even before our entire group had moved to whatever next room there was… That ruined the experience of figuring out puzzles, but still wouldn’t be worth my time to write a negative review.
What REALLY got to me was how she yelled at us. My wife picked up a yearbook from a locker (which was not glued down). I began to inform Bee that I thought maybe this item was supposed to be glued down and she just cut me off and yelled at us. Then I found a stash of balloons in a shoe. (This IS an escape room, right? Where you search for things?) I began to ask her if this was meant for us to find or if it was their own supply stash. She immediately screamed and talked down on us, even making snapping comments not worth even writing. Every time I tried to speak, she just yelled and yelled. She never even heard my question because she wouldn’t let me speak two words without yelling back at me. She yelled at all of us. The worst part is that she yelled at a child who was in our group. She yelled over nothing. Everyone was respectful to the sets, nobody caused any damage or was acting rambunctious or anything. She was just extremely rude, loud, offensive and inappropriate for no reason and completely ruined the experience for the entire group. She got me so fumed up that I stopped participating altogether. I just ended up standing in the corner trying to cool down until finally we went to another room with a different guide.
Looking at other reviews, it seems this was not a one-off for her attitude and the manager of this business might be ok with employees treating paying costumers like this.
Bee, if you dislike people this much and treat people the way you do, you should go do something else that you really love and can give your 100% to. I wish I didn’t spend the money I did to...

If you're looking for a terrifyingly immersive escape room experience in Las Vegas, Escape IT: The Sewers is a must-do. From the moment you step in, you're not just playing a game—you’re stepping into the twisted world of Stephen King’s IT. And trust me, it’s scary in all the right ways.
Puzzles & Gameplay The puzzles are clever and well-integrated into the storyline. They’re not overly complicated, but they keep you thinking and moving. The actors are phenomenal—staying in character the entire time and guiding you just enough to keep the tension high without breaking immersion.
Atmosphere & Acting The live actors are what make this experience unforgettable. Pennywise pops up when you least expect it, and the cast—especially shoutouts to Molly, Aiden, and Frankie—bring the fear to life. Their timing, energy, and commitment to the roles are top-tier.
Graphics & Set Design The graphics and set design are movie-quality. You’ll walk through iconic scenes like the Neibolt House and the sewers of Derry, and every detail—from fog machines to animatronics—feels like it was pulled straight from the screen. It’s dark, eerie, and visually stunning.
Scare Factor This is not for the faint of heart. The jump scares are intense, the ambiance is chilling, and the sense of dread builds with every room. If you love horror, this is your playground. If you’re easily spooked… well, you’ll float too.
Final Thoughts Whether you're a die-hard IT fan or just looking for a thrilling group activity, Escape IT: The Sewers delivers. It’s more than an escape room—it’s a full-blown horror experience. 10/10 would scream again.
Here’s the thing: if you're a hardcore escape room lover who craves complex puzzles and brain-teasing challenges, this might not be the perfect fit. The focus here is more on atmosphere and storytelling than intricate gameplay. The puzzles are fun and thematic, but you get a...
