I’ve never left a negative reviews especially on a food & beverage place as I’ve managed multiple over many years and while I know the expectations and what is taught to staffing and management I’m also very aware of how difficult some days can be. Today was not that. We had a larger group for my moms birthday, 9 people. So they automatically add gratuity of 18% as to be expected. But what was not to be expected is that due to not having to “earn” a tip we were neglected, ignored, and received the slowest service I’ve ever had at a restaurant during a time that wasn’t even busy and had multiple open tables when we were sat and as we went through dinner. We were there for over 3 hrs (not by choice but due to lack of service.) we had a drink order taken and it took a while but we received the correct drinks. Our food order was taken for half of our party and a cup of ice water was knocked over in which I cleaned up personally while the server grabbed a tray and said let me get some napkins and walked away to grab more napkins for the table, dropped them off and WALKED AWAY to go print out a check and box some food for another table! Then came back about 10 minutes later apologized and shook her head and then took the other 5 people’s order. Still waiting on the water she was going to replace from the spill. Order an appetizer thankfully to hold over the little ones since everything was taking so long. We were sat at 6:05/6:10 our kids got their food past 7:30pm and their food came 15 minutes before ours and the server explained I put the kids order in first so they could eat (all the kids minus one of our teenager she didn’t count with the kids apparently). A little confusing as the orders where taken together in 2 parts as she forgot half our party but kids were ordered in both time so it didn’t make sense. Finally everyone gets their food. More dressing was requested for a salad 3 times! The dressing was brought after the salad was finished and only one piece of chicken was left. Green beans were hard and under cooked, kids didn’t like the spaghetti and barely ate it. Alfredo and pizza was good. Never offered refills in 3+ hours even with empty glasses. Asked for them a couple times and received them. After sitting with Empty plates for 20 minutes asked if we wanted dessert, said yes and handed a menu. Almost 20 minutes later Server came back to take the order. Half our party decided not to order and just asked for the check. 2 people ordered. Maybe 15+ minutes later if not longer we got the cheesecakes (asked for them to go as it was past 9pm already and plans were made for after). Checks were dropped off and not collected for at least 10-15 minutes more. During more then 3 hours I never saw a manger around or had anyone do any table touches. Paid through the online system and adjusted the tip accordingly as it stated added for convenience but not mandatory and gave me the option to adjust. I normally tip at least 20% if not more for really good service but I literally felt because they were automatically getting 18% there was no effort at all put in. I still tipped over 10% just to be kind. As I checked on my girls in the restroom on the way out the server tracked us down and in front of our children to tell me I needed to fix her tip and it’s automatic 18% and I’m not allowed to change it. I showed her where it says I can adjust the tip or not tip as it’s not mandatory. She said “ya That’s only for shitty service”. And continued to stand in my face. I explained I already paid. She then walked past me mumbling and upset. I actuality tipped more than was earned based off service and quality and also being overcharged as my mom cheese cake was supposed to be free since she a member and it was her birthday. Horrible service, and attitudes. Not being at a Cheesecake Factory in 14 years and will never...
Read moreThe Cheesecake Factory has long been synonymous with indulgence, and my recent dining experience at one of their locations lived up to the hype. With its extensive menu, opulent ambiance, and, of course, a tantalizing array of cheesecakes, it's no wonder why this restaurant continues to be a favorite among food enthusiasts.
Upon entering The Cheesecake Factory, I was immediately struck by its elegant yet vibrant atmosphere. The spacious dining area was tastefully decorated, creating a welcoming and luxurious setting. The staff greeted me with warm smiles and escorted me to a comfortable table, ensuring that I felt right at home from the very beginning.
One aspect that sets The Cheesecake Factory apart is its impressive menu selection. Offering an extensive range of cuisines, from classic American dishes to international delights, there is something to satisfy every palate. The menu may be overwhelming for some, but the helpful and knowledgeable servers were always ready to offer recommendations based on personal preferences.
For starters, I opted for the iconic Avocado Egg Rolls, and they were an absolute revelation. The crispy exterior perfectly complemented the creamy avocado filling, while the tangy tamarind sauce provided a delightful contrast of flavors. It was a tantalizing start to the meal, leaving me excited for what was to come.
Moving on to the main course, I chose the Chicken Madeira, a true standout. The succulent chicken breast was flawlessly cooked and smothered in a rich mushroom Madeira sauce that had me savoring every bite. Accompanied by a generous portion of garlic mashed potatoes and perfectly steamed asparagus, the dish showcased the chef's culinary prowess.
And of course, no visit to The Cheesecake Factory is complete without indulging in their eponymous dessert. With an extensive selection of over 30 cheesecakes, choosing just one was a challenge in itself. Ultimately, I settled on the classic Original Cheesecake, and it did not disappoint. The velvety texture, creamy richness, and graham cracker crust all worked harmoniously to create a heavenly finale to my dining experience.
While my overall experience at The Cheesecake Factory was exceptional, there were a few minor areas where improvement could be made. The restaurant tends to get quite busy, resulting in longer wait times during peak hours. However, the attentive staff did their best to ensure that customers were well taken care of despite the bustling environment.
Another aspect worth mentioning is the generous portion sizes. While some may see this as a positive attribute, it may be overwhelming for those with smaller appetites or those who prefer lighter meals. It would be beneficial if the menu offered more flexible portion options to cater to a wider range of diners.
Despite these minor observations, The Cheesecake Factory remains an outstanding dining destination. It offers a lavish dining experience with an extensive menu that caters to various tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a place to enjoy a decadent meal, The Cheesecake Factory is sure to leave a lasting impression.
Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend The Cheesecake Factory to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience. Prepare to be enchanted by the delightful flavors, impeccable service, and, of course, the heavenly slices of cheesecake that will leave you...
