I unfortunately didn’t want to have to leave a bad review, but I came in a couple weeks ago to get lash extensions for my first time ever after reading how great this place was. I came in with photos and expressed what I was going for and even mentioned to my artist that it was my first time, so I would’ve hoped for an in depth “consultation” to make sure I was choosing the right thing as I don’t know all the lash terminology and types yet. I ended up with the wrong type of lashes and I phoned back the SAME night to express how I was upset with my lashes because I didn’t want to seem like I was trying to scam a service and just get money back and I was told to wait 2-3 days for them to settle, however I came back in the next day because I really did not like them and they gave me a free 15 with someone else who was very lovely (her name was Karina I believe) and I cried explaining what happened and what I had wanted and she agreed that my artist should’ve done a classic set on me and that she was so sorry that she couldn’t do much to fix my lashes because of the style I was given (she did try her best and I really appreciate her). She then asked the receptionist up front if there was anything we could do more for me, but she replied that she will put a note in my profile for me and to call back in 3 days if I’m really upset with my lashes still, in which I did call back and asked to speak to a manager as I was told to do. I was placed on hold for 15-20 minutes and then was asked to leave my name and number so she could call back. I would like to add that I also pulled off all the lashes at this point because I genuinely did not like them and I wasn’t going to keep something on that made me hate what I saw in the mirror. Never received a call back, so I waited 2 days to call back again. When I called back she said the manager wasn’t available at the moment but asked my name and pulled up my profile and saw the note left and said she will remind the manager again to give me a call. It’s now been almost a week since that last call I made and still no call back to resolve the issue and I’m highly disappointed because I really wanted to love this place and become a regular customer. I’m still hopeful someone will reach out, but it seems unfortunate I have to resort to leaving a review now. Leaving a lengthy review in case anyone has had the same experience.
On a positive note, the artist who had done my set did the set very well so the skill isn’t the issue, I just feel she didn’t take more time to understand what I had truly wanted as a first time client and inform me that the style I was looking for was something else. She asked my mother to describe an employee, but my mom described her in a way that Jade did not like, as well as complementing the front desk person that she was asked to describe (not in a rude way at all) and Jade yelled at my mother. No reason for that. Wow. This place has disrespectful, rude, and horrible employees! The rudest people I have ever come into contact with. DO NOT COME HERE FOR GOOD SERVICE. My mother was DESCRIBING AN EMPLOYEE and the person on the phone turned around and treated her with horrible disrespect. This just happened. DO NOT COME HERE PLEASE. I went to livbay for about 8 months and at first they were great! Soon, however, my lashes would fall out within 2 days and ultimately I would have very sparse lashes after I got a volume set only a few days prior. It was not anything on my part because there are other reviews on here that say the same thing. Also, when I started going to a new place, they stayed in. One other thing I got annoyed with for livbay is they would CONSTANTLY text me to move my appointment. This was every appointment I had. It became VERY annoying because I booked my appointment for the time I booked it. Those are the main reasons I left. It also became very unprofessional after a while because of the constant texting and changing of appointments. If you want decent lashes for a good price, you can go here, but otherwise I wouldn’t. Read morePretty salon but terrible lashes. I was very disappointed when I looked in the mirror, almost in tears! I got my lashes done by Andreya and they did not look good at all. They looked "burned or fried" or "like I had put my face to close to the oven" as the other lash artist put it. I was so unhappy with the way they looked. The salon let me come in for a free 15 min touch up to try to fix the lashes, which I did do, but there was no fixing them. (Would of needed to be completely taken off and redone by a different girl).
This was my first time at this salon, but I have been getting my lashes done for a few years at another salon(who happened to be all booked so I decided to try somewhere new for a change). I called Sassy Lashes and they were able to give me an appt.for that same day which I liked. I feel bad for having to post this but I think the artist who did my lashes was just to young or inexperienced to do the lashes. I know how lash extensions are supposed to look and my lashes looked fried. That's the best way to describe the look. Unfortunately I would have to highly suggest avoiding Andreya. However, the salon itself is worth a try. Each lash artist is different and I do not want to judge the whole salon and it's different artists.
