We have been staying at High Noon for several years now and visit every year (sometimes twice a year) and I can honestly say that I wouldn't stay anywhere else. We have stayed in all three buildings (High Noon, Nautilus & Sea Foam) and have stayed in all different types of rooms, all were great. The rooms are always clean & the beds are always comfortable. I love that all the rooms have safes & they also provide you with some basic toiletries like shampoo/conditioner, lotion etc. They also provide you with a blow dryer and my absolute favorite is the makeup mirror which is magnified on one side. (Really comes in handy for those of us that have an issue with seeing things up close Lol.) The kitchens in the efficiency rooms are all updated & beautiful and are stocked with all the basic necessities. These units are great for longer stays as it allows you to do a small shop at the local Publix which is literally a short distance down the street & allows you to have some food items on hand for breakfast, lunch or dinner which we find cuts down on the expense of having to eat every meal out someplace. But if you do want to dine out there are a lot of great places just steps away! All of properties are right on the beach and the view never disappoints. The staff at High Noon are always accommodating, friendly & truly care about their guests stay. The property is very well maintained and kept up. The staff from housekeeping to the maintenance men are like busy little bees always working hard to keep the place looking beautiful. I've read reviews that complained of street noise or people partying at late hours of the night, but I've never experienced such a thing. If anything I would say that its very quiet & peaceful in the evening & noise from the street is not an issue. We've also never had any issues with other guests. Everyone we have met thus far has been really nice & respectful of each other. I cannot say enough good things about this resort. It really is the best and if I could give it more than 5 stars I absolutely would. We just got back from our visit there a couple weeks ago and we will be back for our annual trip in November & I...
Read moreI'm not going to lie, when I pulled into town everything was crazy busy. I wanted a relaxing, laid-back vacation. This is the first time I have ever been to Lauderdale-By-The-Sea and I didn't know what to expect. If you have a job like I do and you need to just get away and decompress THIS is where you need to go. Every expectation that I had was surpassed. The staff was beyond accommodating. I didn't get to meet the owner but he should really be proud of the buisness that he has built and the staff that he has chosen to represent it. My mother came by during the day because she recently moved to Florida and they were so sweet. She spent the day with me when my fiance went fishing and we just drank coffee and watched the ocean. It was fantastic.
We stayed in room 18 and we checked in on Mother's Day. When we arrived, the sitting area was very welcoming and the pool area was pretty quiet. We had a balcony area and a beautiful view of the ocean, the pier and the pool. You can actually see pelicans flying back and forth. The pool is a saltwater pool and it is fantastic. The room was perfect. It had a beachy theme. It was set up like a little apartment. They give you everything you need. There was a kitchen and a living room. There was also a walk-in closet in the bedroom. They give you beach towels and there are also chairs and umbrellas for you to borrow to take down to the beach. There were no shortage of chairs or anything like that. I had no problem with parking. You can also borrow bicycles to go riding around. (We didn't use the bicycles because you couldn't possibly get any closer to the center of things.) This is the closest place to everything to stay. I can't say enough about this place. We really didn't want to leave. We woke up every morning and watched the sunrise. I will definitely be back. I literally can't think of one thing that they need to improve. I usually can think of SOMETHING. The only thing that I can think of is that I should have...
Read moreI have to start off by saying that there are 3 buildings, the one displayed on the website is the main one. We did go over the website and upon seeing the map of the resort we realized AFTER we made the reservation that we weren’t staying in the building displayed on the website🤷🏻♀️. After realizing this we called, we were told that if you want to stay in the main building there is a minimum 4 night stay. It was too late at that time because there is a no cancellation clause. So a bit misleading on there part. One has to research deeper to see how it’s set up. We were allowed to check in earlier which was nice. Rooms are just as they appear online, very nice, I have to say it gave a “stepchild” (excuse the reference lol) feel to it. Yes you get direct access to the beach and that’s the main reason we picked this resort, but there were little things, no shower to wash up after you get done with the beach but the main building has one. We stayed in room 42 Seafoam building, if you want to go to the pool or beach after a certain time as you come down the stairs from the room, the gate is locked you have to use your key to get in. They don’t use the AARP discount, we were told that “we are always booked so no need to use discounts”???? I didn’t know how to take that lol. Strong possibility we’d stay again, not a 100%. If you are looking for a family vibe this is great! Restaurants galore. There’s a little bit for everyone. Just be aware of which building your booking your room! It may not be in the building...
