The Elmar Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea

The Elmar Boutique Hotel is a special place! We absolutely loved everything about this charming property including not only how friendly and helpful the the staff was but our fellow guests as well. We received a few text messages prior to arriving confirming our stay and then checking to see on our day of arrival when we’d be coming. We had an AM flight and to our surprise our room was ready early (noon) and we were upgraded to the spacious room (bedroom, kitchen, living room with private patio). Everything was very clean and updated (modern). The outdoor space with the heated pool was also very clean and comfortable with loungers, fire pit, table/chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, beach bags plus bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs and beach umbrellas available to guests. Such a perfect touch! Location can’t be beat! One block or two from the main strip with restaurants but surprisingly very quiet at the hotel. The beach entrance is also a quick block walk the opposite direction through a park where they have a Farmers Market every Sunday. You’ll also find Publix an easy 10-12 minute walk or bike ride. We did not get a rental car since the area is easy to get around by foot or bike (or Uber if needed). We have stayed at a variety of hotels in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area over the years - the Elmar Boutique Hotel was by far the best!||The friendly contact and the detailed coordination before our stay promised a carefree and relaxed vacation.|Corina's extremely warm welcome upon our arrival confirmed all our expectations.||Our apartment exceeded anything we have experienced in other hotels.|Everything was sparkling clean, from the floor, to the furniture, the bathroom, the shower, the bedroom with the wonderfully comfortable bed, to the kitchenette, which is equipped with all the necessary utensils.||The entire complex is perfectly maintained and the apartments are very personally and lovingly designed, so that you can feel completely comfortable and secure.||Corina and her colleague were always helpful, competent and friendly with all our questions. We always had the impression of being really welcome. Back in Feb of 2021 we were looking to escape winter and Covid restrictions and head down to Fl. By chance I went online and found this lovely boutique hotel in Lauderdale By the Sea. I immediately called and there was a cancellation in March. While we were there we booked again for May. We then booked again in May for the following March and this year we went in March, April and May which is when bought our adult kids. So you see where I’m going with this!!! The Elmar is OUTSTANDING! The rooms are very spacious and Extremely Clean!!! The staff is over the top friendly and accommodating! The location is beyond perfect….. no rental car needed as just a short block away are great bars for happy hour, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Of course there are other local restaurants that are a short walk or an easy Uber/Lyft drive. The beach had many access points and literally a 2 minute walk.
