I got a tempered glass screen protector on August 1, 2018 and had it installed there. The sales associate quoted me $29. Final bill was $42, not sure why, but I didn't want to argue. He said I could get unlimited new screen protectors for $10 from there on out so I accepted it. He also said since I didn't live near their location I could get $10 screen protectors shipped to me. That was not correct. The only way to get a new screen protector is to actually go to a store location.
The protector started to bubble off on August 8, 2018. At this time my phone display started to turn off during phone calls. The power and volume buttons would not even work. Nothing worked until the person on the other end of the call hung up. Turns out Google Pixel 2 has a sensor that does that if something is blocking it, which it was, because the screen protector was coming off. To be clear I had not dropped the phone or damaged it in anyway. The protector was not cracked. The adhesive was non-existent and it was not even clinging on the phone.
The other issue was that it was supposed to resist smudging but it showed every finger print and was dim and filmy even with careful cleaning with lint free screen wipes. I was having to clean it several times a day. And it's not like I was touching it with dirty or sweaty fingers. The outside of the screen protector was apparently stickier than the inside and attracted every dust particle within 50 feet.
I called the store location on August 9, 2018 to try and get a refund. They told me they do not do refunds but would reapply a new screen protector. However I do not live within 200 miles of a Tricked Out Accessories location and I'm not about to drive 400 miles round trip when I can buy a higher quality tempered glass protector on Amazon for $6.99. One that actually sticks and does not block sensors and make the display turn off during phone calls. One that does not make me nearly stroke out with rage after buying a very expensive phone (brand new on August 1st also, the day I got the screen protector) only to have it malfunction during the most basic function of a phone- phone calls.
Everything at this store can be found on Amazon for 1/4 of the price. I also noticed the phone cases there are expensive but cheaply made and the same exact ones that they sell for $40 bucks are less than $10 on Amazon. SAME EXACT ONES- I looked while I was at the store.
I'm not sure why these stores exist anymore and how they are competing with Amazon especially when their outrageously priced screen protectors can't even stay on a week. And they scam people with $10 screen protector replacements when they're only $6.99 on Amazon.
When they finally go out of business for good, I will smile. And I...

Read moreTL:DR below.
Tricked out has been my go- to for screen protectors for years. I have nothing but good things to say concerning their workmanship in this regard. HOWEVER since this is a review most likely to be used by other consumers, not the business: Tricked out employees appear to be trained to line up the screen protector with the top speaker, which is fine except the protector itself is not long enough for such placement, leaving the bottom ⅜inch exposed. This placement also extends into the black camera zone on my Galaxy S10+, but not enough to affect the camera. Placing the protector in line with the camera zone instead of speaker would alleviate this issue. The employees are friendly and helpful, but there is an off-putting vibe that makes me think they are under too much pressure from supervisors or corporate or whatever, and that makes me hesitate to support the company beyond screen protectors. Bought a case this visit but will probably never buy another one from them. There are a lot of deep reasons behind this, but in a nutshell: companies that nickle and dime, micromanage their employees, and do anything for a dollar are likely to be doing sketchy things behind the scenes, and especially in today's world we need less of that. Otherwise, as stated before, tricked out accessories is my go-to for screen protectors.
TL:DR The screen protector is awesome, as is normal for them, but it feels driven more by corporate greed than care for product, so be careful purchasing anything more than a couple bucks...
