Great, but too sweet for me.
The staff was so friendly and nice. The food choices are many and very customizable. The vegetables are of nice quality and the noodles and everything else seem fresh and well cooked. The mushrooms had great flavor and the potstickers were crispy.
Unfortunately, the sauce they cooked everything with was so sweet. If you like super sweet food then this is probably just fine, but I prefer a better balance. It needed more saltiness to combat the sweet. This restaurant needs to offer soy sauce so that customers can add it on their own for more saltiness to combat the sweet if they prefer.
They offer sesame seeds, Sriracha, chili oils/sauces, and extra of their sweet sauce when you pick up your food, but no soy sauce. They need to have a bottle of soy sauce there.
If they added soy sauce to their line up at the end, I would definitely come back.
I paid $13 for potstickers with noodle upgrade and add mushrooms. I also put Sriracha and sesame seeds on myself when they gave...
Read moreI thought the high rating was artificial, fortunately, I was incorrect. The sauce was not slimy and greasy like other Asian cuisine / fast food places seem to be. This to go plate I had of the meat lovers was literally smashed into the to-go box where there wasn't room for even air. It served in a to-go box because you're not going to be able to eat it all there you are taking something home. And you are going to be very happy you have something to take home.
Michelin five star rating for a Mall food court?
Oh yes...
Zoom in on the photo and you can see that it follows the contours of the lid there is literally no room between the food and the lid when closed it is stuffed to the brim and heavier than a bowling ball.
I did find the noodles and rice and vegetables eventually, but it took a while
because there was so much food.
$3.00 less than my favorite all-you-can-eat Chinese place, and yet
I will have food left over for tomorrow.
I think I ate one third of what was there.
Highly...
Read moreMy first time trying Q one BBQ and I'm pleasantly surprised how good it was! Ordered won ton soup and it is one of my favorite that I've tried so far in Utah. Won Ton soup is my favorite and I order it all the time no matter where I am at or what season. Grew up in Hawaii and had saimin everywhere there. Tried it in Vegas and California. I'm very picky with the broth. So happy with Q one's won ton soup. Almost reminds me of local saimin from Hawaii. Also ordered a plate of chicken and shrimp bulgogi with noodles...tastes more like yakisoba but very good! Always got the yakisoba chicken and noodles from Osaka in the same food court, but you get more from Q one and it tastes so much better! Highly recommend trying them out. They give you free samples and they are very friendly as well. Will be adding Q one BBQ & noodles to my go to places for sure. So excited to find them and kicking myself for not trying...
