I was really happy when the Chick-fil-A Layton location opened, and for a while it seemed pretty good. But the drive-thru is such a mess, and the way people can come in and out of the drive-thru and parking lot is so confusing that the drive-thru line ends up taking an insanely long time at this location, and people often drive in through an exit lane and then cut the line in front of other people who have been waiting longer. I tried to go here twice this week, and both times I eventually had to get out of line because either the line was so confusing with people coming in from various directions or their line was just so long and not moving, that I never could actually get up far enough to place an order.
I'm a big fan of Chick-fil-A food! So I wish I could give more stars, but the drive-thru and parking lot really don't work here.
I know this location can't really do anything about the way the parking lot is right now, but I will be avoiding this particular Chick-fil-A and going to other ones that have a better drive-thru arrangement...
Read moreEvery time I go there for a doordash pick up the staff ignores me. They see me waiting they see that the doordash order is ready but then they act like I'm not there waiting. This has happened every single time I've gone there to do a pickup. When someone isn't busy I try to get their attention but it's like they're actively attempting to ignore me. Like they'll start to look at me and what they see I'm paying attention to them they'll turn away immediately. I've had to call out to them multiple times to get their attention. All while my order is sitting there finished and I'm standing there trying to get them to pay attention to me so I can pick up the order they know the orders ready they know someone's standing there waiting and at this point I really honestly believe it's intentional because it's happened every single time. I've usually used consideration and caution thinking they see me and that they know I'm picking up for doordash and I try to be patient but this is happened every single time and it really feels intentional...
Read moreVery, very slow and terrible customer service. I just ordered two grilled chicken sandwiches and waited about 15 minutes for the order. Meanwhile there were about 20 people waiting to order and only one person working the counter taking orders. What was sad was there were two representatives from the company — clearly dressed in obvious Chick-fil-a attire — who I assumed to be some sort of management, sitting at a table in the food gallery near the store. They were having some sort of meeting or discussion rather than attending to their very busy store. I told them that I had been waiting a long time, and that they only had one person at the counter. They just sort of shrugged and said, “I’m sorry,” but did not move. Then, as I was walking past them, after I got my sandwich, one of the men I had spoken to looked at me and said, “Did you get your sandwich?”
The overworked employees Were in fact, pleasant. However, I feel bad that they were getting absolutely no support from two men who appeared to be upper...
