Par 5 Grill — Restaurant in Layton

Phenomenal food, personally the best cheesesteak and fries I've ever had. When I took my first bite of the cheeesteak, it felt like I bit into a cloud made of wheat and carbs, then my teeth reached the meat cheese and peppers. My teeth glided through the meat as though it was warm butter, and I was the knife. The sheer assault of flavor and seasoning made me feel as though I had just been reborn, the cheese was perfectly melted and mixed with the meat in a way where it was the definition of equal ratio. The tangy bite from the peppers felt as though an enemy had attacked this holy gathering of meat and cheese, but was united through comradery in a shared dream of unity. All of these coming foreward to create the divine experience that was eating here. And don't even get me started...

Came here because of the cool student menu in the mall, as I walked up I saw the worker slumped over the counter taking a nap, after saying hello 3 times and knocking on the counter she finally woke up. After taking my order and paying with a 10 she proceeded to hand me 7.00 in change, I said you gave me the wrong change, its too much she scowled at me and said oh like I did her a disservice by asking for less money 😂. and proceeded to give me the right change while also forgetting my drink. Not a great experience but the food...

Came in last night at 7:35pm. Nobody at the counter, a girl came and peaked behind the wall, saw me and then walked away. I called the call ahead order number. A girl answered and I asked if they were open, she said “I’m cleaning the grill and I’m by myself.” Okay … well I guess I’ll go somewhere else. This is also the second time I’ve stood in front of the counter with no service. Food looks great, service is terrible! I won’t be trying...
