Crystal Nail Spa — Attraction in Lemoyne

I really wanted to like this place. It’s a cute shop and the ladies were nice. HOWWEVER, I went there for dipping power. I had to remove my old dipping power myself by soaking my hand on cotton that was soaked in nail polish remover and the cotton stuck to my nails. I have arthritis in my hands. It was horrible and pain was around for days. The. They put the dipping powder on my nails without a base coat. I have had dipping powder for 2.5 yrs and never had that. Finally, it wasn’t even a week and they chipped. My dipping powder nails have always lasted me until I take them off. They put as small of an amount on your nails as they can. Just trying to save money. I complained and now I have to go back in to get them fixed but argued they don't put a base coat on, which is what the powder sticks to, because it is "to think." Another words, they want you to have to keep coming in to get them done and they do not want to do them correctly. The owner did not address my questions and concerns when I wrote her and stated they do not do dipping powder the way every other salon does, but wanted me to come back in to fix it. Not sure that will happen. They obviously do not follow the guidelines or want your nails to look good. They just want your money. Not sure how I’m going to do that when I work 4 jobs be and it is so hard to schedule time to do this....

LOVED the pedicure service! Everyone was so friendly and the spa was clean and professional. I felt very comfortable there and will definitely be back! It’ll be my new regular place for sure. They offer a nice range of pedicure service options ranging from $40-55 and the chairs are in great shape with relaxing massage options. The staff are all wonderful and the color options are beautiful and plenty. I got gel polish which lasts long and looks so nice. The sugar scrub smelled and felt lovely along with the foot/leg massage. Tools were all cleanly packed and staff were very gentle and thorough with their work. My husband and I actually came in together and he feels super pleased with everything just like me. It’ll become a regular spa date for us. We even got a gift card for my mom to use next time we come....

Took my 9 year old daughter here for a basic manicure and pedicure (her first) based on FB comments that they're great with kids. They were so pushy and disrespectful of me saying I didn't want my daughter to have acrylics. I kept saying no and one nail tech proceeded to speak directly to my daughter, saying she can do them for her and cut them short. It felt like a mental mind trick and next thing I knew, there was a full set of acrylics on my 9 year old. For the record, they looked awful and as I knew she would, she hated them and couldn't function with them on. We took them off that night. We will never return to this place. What was supposed to be a fun mother/daughter experience turned into a complete $200 nightmare. She also now has a red, painful toe, which is likely infected....
