Depoe Bay Scenic Park — Attraction in Lincoln City

Depoe Bay is a beautiful spot on our beautiful Oregon coast. Fun gift shops. A candy shop that makes salt water taffy and cheesy caramel corn. If you've never had it, you don't know what you're missing! OMG, it's to die for!! There's a tiny place at the south end of the bridge that sells fresh locally caught and smoked fish, whatever is available at the time. Their recipe is amazing! I've stopped there a few times and it's always fantastic. Only problem is that they only make a limited amount each day so if they sell out, you're out of luck. So if it's a beautiful day and there are lots of visitors, go early in the day! Also, the Sea Hag makes great fish and chips and chowder. And if that weren't enough, they have grey whales that stay in the bay year round! If you are patient, you will see them surface, dive, blow. Maybe even come all the way up to the rocks and give you a close up show!...

This is one of the best places in the entire United States to watch Wells. There's a community of local Wells that actually lives here that do not migrate, so you can see them. Year round, there's also orca's humpbacks, blue Wells and other variety and species. It's really awesome because there's tour boats all day long. That you can watch and basically where they go. The Wells are they know where they are. You can also look for sea birds. And that kind of tells you where the Wells are, you can see them doing, blow out switches when they let the air out and breathe. You can also see them breathing the water and their dorsal fins constantly. It's so amazing. People come from all over the world to watch these guys definitely recommend it and. ...

My favorite of all coastal spots. It's like a touchstone for me. Going on trip. Come here first. Just returned from journey come here. The tide causes spouts when high. Love that water in the air and smell of salt in the wind.

Nice walk along here. We're usually lucky and find spot to park along this walk. Shops and cafes are across the street, busy 101 so use the light.

Whale watching from here in season from shore or take a boat tour. Unfortunately this time no whales around.
