SCP Depoe Bay — Hotel in Depoe Bay

Cute little spot with easy access to whale watching tours. This little spot is very modern, clean and friendly. My husband and I arrived after 6pm the office communication was fantastic. They called to give us exact check instructions as well as recommendations for food/activities. If arriving after 6 remember that this Depoe is a small town, most restaurants and stores close by 8pm.

When we arrived the lobby area is very inviting. It was super clean the fire place was kicking and they left out pitchers of drinking water, clean plates and utensils for guest to use. Thanks for being thoughtful! They had board games and a small workout area they even thought about the fur babies. They had bowls and beds for them. They also have a laundry room for guest that was free.

Our room had a glass door that overlooked the Harbor which is where we went for the whale watching tour. The room is simple it had a bed refrigerator, a cute corner, swing a TV and a table. The room did come with a fan and a sound machine. We are not picky and really just wanted a clean safe place to sleep. It reminded me of a bed and breakfast. It’s set up similar to a house. You can hear the noice from other guest room but that didn’t bother us. If you are a light sleeper or looking for sound proof rooms you may not love it.

We had never been to an SCP hotel before, but their website looked good, and the reviews were good, too. We were surprised that the rate was quite reasonable, so we wondered if there was a catch. However, as soon as we got there and entered our room, we knew there was no catch.||The room was clean, and there were more amenities than other places with higher prices. The bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows. The view of the harbor was great, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay there.||We were particularly impressed with the common room. It was large, welcoming, and well-decorated. As with many other reviews of this place, we, too, enjoyed the homemade granola for breakfast. We LOVED that they offered oat milk.||Last, but not least, we really appreciated Julia for her customer service. She was pleasant and professional and made sure that she informed us of all available amenities.||Because of all of the above, our weekend getaway was hassle-free, which is exactly how we like it. Additionally, we rarely ever return to a place because we like to experience new places each time. However, in this case we would be happy to return to SCP...
