HWY 101 Burger Depoe Bay — Restaurant in Depoe Bay

Look forward to checking this place out for a week, didn't eat all day on. 2+ hour journey thinking this is gonna be a burger to remember...well -2 out of like 5 tables available on a sat afternoon..so no crowd basic order of #1 and #2 basket..a single and double, with min tip total $25 -told that'll be ready in 15-20 mins...ok wow this is going to be such a delicious juicy burger, fine I'll wait longer than it could possibly seem to take to produce the one item they grill -come back get both baskets for 2 people, but handed a single basket of some thousand island with ketchup fry dip. -burger patties are stunningly thin probably 3oz at very most precooked -asked for ketchup since you just handed 2 dudes 1 small fry dip that of course isn't enough for 2 ppl/baskets...get eyeroll and basket that has ketchup splattered on every spot like he just squeezed it like Conor McGregor -eat whole burger in about 55 seconds without any effort, and barely feeling it fill me up at all realize that the burger/meat was watery and tasteless thanks to the senseless idea of placing a single slice of tomato under the burger and the one thing they asked about grilled or raw onions on the double, they got wrong and had put raw.

Very disappointed, not sure how this place gets such rave reviews, a Jr bacon cheeseburger from Wendy's is twice as filling and they understand that toppings go on top. Think it's locals stuck in a bubble,and trying to pull tourists...only saving grace is the $10/$12 prices aren't the worst on earth, and the fries were decent, mighta been great if ya coulda gave 2 customers 2 fry sauces...but ya know, that woulda sacrificed 15...

Didn’t know what to expect from this tiny hole in the wall to be honest. Walked in and the owner (I’m assuming he was the owner) took our order. My daughter wasn’t in the best of moods but he was able to get her to crack a smile. No joke, this guy was awesome! He had such a big personality and really knows how to work with people. Aside from the amazing interactive customer service, the food….. the best! Ordered 2 burger combos for my 10yo and my 3yo. They were devoured in minutes. Burgers were cooked to perfection, simple toppings and the fries!!!! Special sauce was served with my daughters name in it, lol so cute! Fries are done in home, can’t quite put my finger on the seasoning but was so ridiculously good! Food was great! Service was phenomenal which of course makes it all 100% better! Will definitely be back on our next trip! It’s a must,...

My husband loved this burger and put it as his top 3 burger places to eat. We went back so I could try it, and he could have another triple burger. A single burger is 10 dollars with fries and a can of soda. For every patty you add, it is a dollar more. There is the choice of cooked onions, a mixture, or just fresh onions. We got the half mixture. The burger was very delicious. Cheese was melted, and the onions were sinking into the cheese. It was an amazing hamburger, but the fries are where I was in love. They seem to be fresh russet potatos with a breading slightly with great seasoning. Their sauce, which is on the burger, is one of the best creamy, slight spice, and sweetish sauce I have had. When we go back, we are hoping they are still there. There is seating, but it is a small place like a shed but worth the try...
