Oregon Parks and Recreation Department has a wonderfully educational Whale Watching Center in Depoe Bay.
The Whale Watching Center, greets visitors daily during season, provides multiple options for learning about and watching whales.
Depoe Bay provides a wonderful opportunity to see whales close up while you are on shore. Whales regularly swim into the bay to rest and feed, it's so easy to view the whales 🐋 from shore.
The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department Whale Watching Center provides a wealth of educational material on whales, several times a day during the season a ranger presents information and takes questions, and they have a historical presentation.
The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department Whale Watching Center provides opportunities for visitors to actually view whales from my the center.

Read moreThis place is always a joy to visit. Views are incredible and very much the place for a beautiful relaxing day. Anywhere you look is magic. Places to sit and just unwind. Inside are informative exhibits that are hands on and children are enthused by them. My husband really enjoyed the upper level as it gives an overall views without having to look thru the windows. Boats coming and going from under the bridge are fascinating to watch and usually watch to see what direction they go and then hopefully will see whales. Have both on a whale watching tour and was a blast. Restrooms are available but is very popular area so parking is tight as lots of people get there early to get the best viewing spots. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to just sit and unwind and...

We learned a lot and gained additional appreciation for these amazing animals. It was wonderful to find out that their population has rebounded so well from when they were hunted almost to extinction. This is a must-see stop if you're traveling down the...
