This place is amazing! I know that gets said a lot, but it truly is. I highly recommend looking through the gallery even if you don't intend on purchasing anything. They have some extremely impressive pieces that made me stop and wonder just how the artist made them. The shop is nice and clean and has the prices where you can clearly see them. There is a public restroom in the shop for customers. Careful with the little kids in this shop. Almost everything is accessible to the customer and that could result in a lot of damage! The workshop has everything where the general public can go and watch them make the different items. They show pretty much the entire process. There are some of the workshops that you can sign up for (paid) and participate in. Make sure that you sign up ahead of your visit, drop-ins will be almost impossible. The classes are done with a lot of respect for the student that has no knowledge and they are polite and friendly. They will work with you to get you a special design if you want to pay for it. They do ship their products around the world. Cash and cards are acceptable...

So fun! If you come to Lincoln City Oregon then this is one of the most fun adventures you can do. A local artisan will take you step by step through the process of blowing your own glass float or bowl. Make sure you schedule your appointment, they are usually booked out for quite a while. You need to realize that your float will have to cool overnight and will not be ready to pick up until the next morning when they open at 10:00 am. They will give you protective eye and hand gear to wear. They also ask that you don't wear flannel... flannel is flammable. You can also have someone along to take pictures of your event. You will be asked to choose up to 4 colors for your float. Make sure to ask your instructor what happens to your colors as they combine in the float, some colors, like yellow or green will turn ugly when mixed with certain colors. Your instructor will talk you through the process and inform you of many interesting things about the art. It takes a long time for these glass blowers to be proficient and they will help you make one of the best souvenirs you will...

If you're not careful you can spend a lot of money at the Lincoln City Glass Center. The staff are very friendly and are happy to answer any questions.

We had two of our kiddos assist in making two glass jelly fish paper weights. The glass blowers were very professional and kind with the kids. They explained the process as they worked and had the kids help where they could without it being dangerous. The kids picked the colors and then went to work on forming their chosen object. It was very cool. They provide gloves, protective eye wear, and sterilized the glasses between uses. They have you hand sanitize prior to putting on the gloves. It was very clean considering the times we find our selves in with COVID-19.

The glass shop has an assortment of objects of every kind, very beautiful, fascinating, and awesome. Our favorites were the floats. There are small, medium, and large floats. They also have wooden stands with lights to set them on, we highly recommend purchasing one to go with your float.

Over all we highly recommend stopping by the Lincoln City Glass Center. Very...

Hands down the BEST wedding anniversary idea EVER! It was all because of the people here. The atmosphere and attitude, the intentional deliverance of passion in glass blowing here is phenomenal. This place creates hand in hand wins for the entire community and culture of Lincoln city. The people who create these experiences together is a vital element of living the happiest life possible. It’s freedom and beauty and absolute joy. It’s a feeling and a memory that is much more than HOT LAVA GLASS! It’s so amazing to see these pieces come to life and form, so many steps and it’s hot! It’s risky! It’s fun! They have amazing facts on glass did you know 100 ad was when the first clear glass was invented. My goodness just a Mecca of glass art and a whole community of passionate artists. This is truly one of the most unique experiences one could ever have. Huge thank you to the amazing people who work here who care about helping people make lasting memories and experiences. I can’t thank you enough or recommend people to come here and create a really amazing piece of art.

I would like to share an amazing and fun experience my wife and grandson and I just had on the coast. We stopped in at a blown glass gallery/foundry in Lincoln City on a whim and ended up with a super cool decoration for our home. I'm a retired artist (stone-carver), so the idea of creating my own blown glass float was instantly appealing, and the experience and end result could not have been better. I had a VERY hands-on involvement, from choosing the colors to working the glass in the furnace, shaping, smoothing and cutting the piece and watching it go from a lump of molten glass to a finished and beautiful piece of art. And my wife and grandson were right there the whole time. I can't recommend this experience enough. Plus, IMO, the cost was very reasonable. The folks at Lincoln City Glass Center (which is in a very cool repurposed fire house) were wonderful, the gallery is a wonder to behold, and the foundry (for lack of a better word) is state of the art. Oh, and we also bought the beautiful wood light box right there in the gallery. So happy!

What a fun experience while on vacation to the Oregon Coast, and a great souvenir to take home. I thought I was going to miss the opportunity because they were all booked, so if you’re planning a trip and think you might want to blow your own glass, book the appointment. Fortunately, they had a waiting list, and I was able to get in. Blowing your own glass is loosely phrased, because they do most of the work - which I was totally okay with. The gentleman that helped me, and a few others I watched before hand were very knowledgeable and helpful. There were young children and adults participating, and it was almost as much fun to watch as it was to participate. There is convenient parking right behind the shop, but you could park anywhere and stroll through the cute little shops on your way there. Don’t forget to wear close toed shoes and tie long hair back. I’ll definitely be doing this again in the future.
