UPDATE 9/23/23: went here for lunch with the significant other's mom on vacation and again, not disappointed. Brisket Fries and Wings are amazing. The Brisket Fries are a meal by themselves and can easily be a "table sharer" for sure. The wings were tasty and highly recommend as well. Also, the Rusty Truck Combo pizza continues to consistently impress with the crust, amount of toppings on it and the taste overall.
If you get a chance to also try their Pineapple Upside Down Cake - DO IT! IT IS ON ANOTHER LEVEL OF TASTY. 👏👏
Amazing experience here. Highly recommend to anyone traveling - this is a great hangout for beer and food.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We have eaten at Rusty Truck last year and to come back has been well overdue. We brought our family there to give this a try as they, too, are food connoisseurs!
First and foremost - the aesthetic of Rusty Truck is just great. It's a little bit of dive bar, little bit of 70's dance bar and a little bit of hometown country restaurant all wrapped in one.
Food wise - we got the Brisket Fries, Rusty Truck Combo pizza, Smoked Chicken Pizza, and a pretzel. The presentation was AMAZING! The taste was also absolutely amazing and everything we remembered from last year. The brisket fries are CRIMINALLY GOOD. They are a meal in of themselves!!
I could write a two page essay about how amazing their beer selection is too, especially their Taft Toffee Porter and Cherry Chocoholic Porter .. but I'll just say that you MUST go here and get a flight, and try the food. This is handily one of the best food places in Lincoln City.
Go here! Trust us - you won't...
Read moreThe service was so miserable that I would give this place a negative rating. The server, Erick, had some sort of chip on his shoulder because we started with an appetizer order and two beers. My daughter & I each asked for water also. When the beers were delivered we ordered soup and asked for water for each of us again. After our second request for water, Erick delivered glasses of water to a nearby table who had arrived after we did. At this point I went to the bar and got two glasses of water. Our soups were delivered, at a lukewarm temperature and still no water. The appetizer was delivered after we had finished the soup and was cool like it had set waiting for some time. Shortly after our food arrived, again lukewarm temperature, I went to the restroom. When I returned the bill was on the table even though we had received our food less than fifteen minutes earlier. My daughter had requested to go boxes and was packing up the food because she was as disgusted as I was. While I was laying cash on the bill to pay the server Erick came up to the table and basically jerked the folder with the money off the table from under my hands. Complaining to the the manager was pointless, a slice of cheesecake was offered to my daughter. Needless to say, we left no tip on our bill. DO NOT GO THERE unless you want to be...
Read moreWe were served our appetizer with our dinner, a pretzel. It was served to us frozen! We would have told the server when she came back to bring us with the glass of ice we asked for(she walked off before we made our other requests) but she never came back. After 20 Minutes we went to the counter to pay and just asked that the pretzel be removed from our receipt. Amy, our server then proceeded to tell us LOUDLY that they were short staffed etc. and apologized. But then she continued getting louder and louder as though trying to elicit sympathy from other patrons, at which point she yelled after us “sorry I forgot your ice”, as though we had made a fuss over poor service. We hadn’t even mentioned her terrible service. But, terrible service and frozen food(that was costly enough to expect better-than we got) aside, the attitude of Amy, was the biggest issue. As though we had no right, to be annoyed at all of this. As though we were wrong to be upset by paying a lot for mediocre/frozen food and zero actual service. It is thanks to this attitude/ behavior, not even the frozen food, but this person’s attitude, that we will no longer make this one our...
