Above average bar food. We ordered a philly with clam chowder and a house burger with fries. No complaints on the food. Sandwich and burger were good but not unforgettable. The fries and chowder were above average. We arrived on a Sunday night with plans to take our food to go. Enjoyed a drink with quick service as we waited about 10-15 min for our order. Order was missing a plastic spoon for chowder so I had to drink the soup back at our hotel room. Bar atmosphere had comfortable seating and a single woman gig singing for the live music. She sounded very good but we only heard one song as she was on break for the short time we were present. Upon eatering the bar we were immediately greeted by a middle aged woman who was seated at a table but later she came by and also made another friendly comment to us. I was guessing she was either a friendly regular or the owner. We felt comfortable but it was just not a good personality fit for our kind of hand out. The music was not our taste and we personally do not care for cursing which I did candidly hear in this local handout in the short period we waited for our order. It was a late night crowd so nothing against the crowd just not our kind of place. I would order takeout again over opting for fastfood when most regular restaurants in town are already closed...
Read moreIf you are in Lincoln City and looking for a place with good food, drinks, and even better company, stop by Snug Harbor Bar and Grill. This place, and Jayson in particular, saved my life. Long story short, my car broke down at the Drift Creek Falls trailhead (beautiful hike btw) and me, my brother, and friend became stranded, not able to get back into our car with no cell reception. We were lucky to get a ride down the mountain and get dropped off here. We were tired, freezing, and pretty grumpy. The bar was warm and the people welcoming. The bar itself was super nice and cute. I spent a while enjoying the pretty glass orbs behind the bar. We chatted, Jayson commiserated, and even let us stay past closing time so we wouldn't be stuck in the cold waiting on a tow truck to take us home to Portland. He even offered us a ride and recommended some hotels if we weren't able to get home. Literally everyone we met at the bar was so nice and sympathetic to our plight. I want to call out Jayson one more time for being a rockstar of a person. His humor and kindness made a horrible night easier. We stayed out of the cold and had some great company as a bonus. Whether you're passing through Lincoln City or staying, stop at the Snug Harbor Bar and Grill. You won't be...
Read moreGreat place for some great food. Tots and fries are served hot and piled high, and the fries are the breaded kind. The food seemed reasonably priced, except for the pizza, which struck me as being oddly high. Something like $25-$30 for a 12” pizza. But I wasn’t there for pizza, so didn’t ask about it. They have mayonnaise as a condiment on the tables, and this made me very happy. Inside the place has a beautiful long wood bar, as well as some tall tables and chairs. Outside there is some patio seating, and dogs are allowed in this area. Service was great to begin with, but me and my friends went in about 90 minutes before a live band was scheduled to play. As the crowd increased, the two servers working were soon overwhelmed, and service suffered because of it. This no reflection on the people working, they were moving as fast as they could, getting everyone taken care, and through it all kept a positive attitude. We left right before the band started, and groups of people were hovering to jump on our table as soon as it became available. I was going to offer it up to the highest bidder, but decided to let everyone hug it out instead. Moral of the story: Arrive early on live music nights, and consider leaving...
