You can see by their response the complete apathy of Oregon beach vacations. They are the most unprofessional and poorly run establishmesnt I have ever encountered in the vacation rental industry.
Their employee endangered my entire family by entering into the unit without a mask. The Chamber of Commerse has been contacted for the employees misconduct.
I do not recommend this establishment to anyone!

Let me start by saying the Sandpiper Condos have some amazing views, easy beach access and an overall great room.
However all this was overshadowed by the fact that the place had not been properly cleaned and was absolutely disgusting.
Upon entering the condo at first things seemed fair. The kitchen looked as if it was somewhat kept up and the living room seemed vacuumed and picked up. However, the first thing we noticed is that no inspector came to check on our unit.
“Winter signed the form saying she had cleaned the unit; however, the unit was not clean and was never inspected.
Upon entering the room, we were horrified to discover semen stains all over the bedding. The sheets had large bodily fluid stains and the bedding had food all over it embedded in the fibers.
Pubic hair was on all the pillows and the overall look of the comforter and all associated coverings were absolutely disgusting. Semen, food stains, and hair made me so uncomfortable I could barely sleep in the sheets that my wife and I had to share because we had no blanket. It was one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen at any hotel, condo or resort.
When we contacted Oregon Beach Vacations the next day, they told me they would send someone right away to take care of it. We waited all morning for the cleaning lady to show but she never did. We finally left for lunch and when we returned, we noticed nothing had been done, only a bag of towels on the floor. It wasn’t’ until much later that day that the lady stopped by and simply handed me a bag of new bedding. She didn’t apologize, she didn’t offer to change the bedding, nothing, just handed me the bag of bedding. After I had to change the semen covered bedding myself, I then took it and put it in the closet where it remained for the rest of our visit.
Towards the end of our stay, we were trying to clean up and get some dishes done. The Dishwasher started to leak. I called Oregon Beach Vacations and they told me someone would be right out to fix it. It took the repair man a considerable amount of time to get there, and when he did, he simply handed me a huge bag full of towels and said, “Keep using it and just soak up the water”. I was blown away at the lack of professionalism and complete apathy from the company and the repair man. Also the repair man entered our unit without a mask which is at this time mandated in Lincoln County.
The disgusting and appalling state of the bedding and the fact that I had to change it myself was unacceptable. Then to add to that it was left all week in my closet (gross). The repair man’s complete apathy and the fact that he put my family at risk by not abiding by the rules and wearing a mask is unprofessional and just plain wrong. Oregon Beach Vacations is literally destroying the Sandpiper condo a little bit at a time and it's reputation along with it.
I will be writing a formal complaint to the Oregon Chamber of Commerce regarding Oregon Beach Vacations due to the lack of professionalism and the fact that they entered my room without a mask and violated the county mandate putting my family at risk.

Read more8 months later I stayed a second time to the Sea Daze and Oregon Beach Rentals. I assumed things that were complained about before by numerous renters, documented in the Sea Daze book, such as dirty utensil drawers and a oven you can't use because there is no readable dial, that when we came back this stay would be better.
On the contrary. Such as shame such a cute house and great location is taken care of so poorly by the owner and definitely the property management renting it out.
Clearly dirty upon arrival, someone's feces in the only toilet, no working heater on in the home on a 36 degree night. Took an uncomfortable night of sleep to to warm the house since the front heater didn't work. Long story short management clearly does not care about creating a pleasant vacation environment nor take responsibility for the filth when there is always a cleaning fee. Super sad spending one night of 3 cleaning filth and being cold and they don't care. Claim carpet is a light discoloration, say nothing how dirty the unit is for a cleaning fee and that the same problems still are not fixed. Shameful. Will not return to Oregon Beach Vacation rentals. 3 weeks after my stay I still have not been given a phone call from managment as I have requested over and over. They clearly do not want to improve as a company and provide quality customer service. They will offer a insulting 10% discount though to not give bad reviews. Save your money. You clearly need it. In answer to your response. Funny I get a quicker response on a public review. Management still never called me once in 3 weeks to speak about the issues. The pictures I have show clean is not your motto nor is that sun bleaching. The feces that were left in the toilet. The note from the previous guest stated you never came out after day three. I didnt eat a whole.plate of food and try to get a refund. What a horrible analogy.
Why would I need to call you on my 3 day vacation that the unit is dirty from obvious basic housekeeping not being done like wiping a fridge door, and clean toilet? Management is clearly is not managing. Houses take 2 to 4 hours to clean! Why would I call and have you come out to do a job that wasnt dont right in the first place? I cleaned myself instead of waste m more time on vacation. Why would I call you on a heating issue you were clearly already neglegent about that the previous guest wrote about. I told you about the oven 8 months ago in July and many others since. Management should be aware of what the homes contain. I was there for vacation and paying for a place to stay that is not a hotel I just just walk up to the front desk and have a maintenance man asap. This is a house rental we paid over 500 dollars for 3 day stay. Absolutely I am owed a refund since you cannot manage the property. You should be embarrassed. I am not going to call at 11pm that the house wont heat up after 3 hours and that I have to go to bed with sweats and a sweatshirt. Read moreMy Mom reserved a house through this company for the the first week in June. When we arrived at the house we found it absolutely filthy. The previous renters left a note saying how dissatisfied they were with their stay, how dirty it was, ants in the house and broken dryers and televisions. There were no bedding on the beds, floors and counters were sticky, decorations for a party they had still hanging on the walls, food in the fridge and just an all over mess. My Mom tried calling Oregon Beach vacations and was on hold for 20 minutes before getting disconnected. She called again and I called as well and the same thing, after 20 minutes we were both disconnected. We called all the numbers on the welcome information letter to no avail. While trying to contact them we decided to start washing bedding and cleaning counters so we could sleep that night and not have our stuff stick to the counters. It's ridiculous to show up to a house in that condition and have to clean first before we could unpack. We finally found a different number on the business license posted on the fridge. The person that answered there said they would have the manager call us back. The manager called back fairly quickly and said they would have someone out to clean it soon. They arrived within a half an hour and told us we had to leave while they cleaned the house and that they would pay for dinner. We came back to the house after dinner and it was cleaner and we had bedding but it was far from clean. The air vents were disgusting, drips of filth running down the walls, banister had broken spindles that instead of fixing they had tried to repair it with glue and tape, Wifi was broke, several tvs didn't work, neither of the dryers worked very well at all, no balls for the foosball table, smoke alarm had been disconnected in the basement and there was no key for the gate that provided beach access. They told us they would have someone out the next day to take care of the tv's, WiFi and the beach access. The only thing that got resolved was the tv. The view from the house was phenomenal but the condition of the house itself was dismal. Most of the mattresses must have been hand me downs because they were terribly uncomfortable. The house was not at all as advertised, we never got WiFi, and never had beach access, the last night we were there the neighbor unlocked the gate and let us use the beach access for the night. The beach access was terrifying, it was missing a step and had others look like they were going to fall out soon. The stairs are in desperate need of some tlc just like the rest of the house. The house has so much potential its sad to see it is being managed and taken care of so poorly. We felt that we deserved a partial refund for our stay but was told that they would refund our cleaning fee and that was all.
