I bought a snug ivory lace skirt on clearance to wear to a wedding as a last resort in case I was unable to find anything else in ivory. However about a week later I found THE PERFECT dress and decided to return the skirt. I had the tags, the bag and the receipt and the skirt had never been worn. Dillard's refused to accept it as a return because it was on clearance! Yes, it was written on the receipt return within 3 days. But who looks at the receipt when they buy something?! I even spoke to a manager and she said " So sorry but we're cracking down on returns". Considering how dead it usually is in there you would think they would like to keep customers, and since I was buying for a Las Vegas wedding I was still looking to buy lingerie, makeup and a couple pairs of dress pumps. Sorry Dillard's after that experience I bought my makeup at Penney's, my pumps at Shoe Encore and my lingerie at Victoria's Secret. Read moreThey have a decent selection, but the employees are incredibly rude! 2 of them repeatedly insisted they hold a pair of jeans my boyfriend had found up at the register until we're ready to check out; and followed us around the store staring intently as if we were trying to steal them or something after we politely said "no thank you" and explained that we were looking for a shirt to match & needed them handy so we could compare & what not. I didn't even bother trying to find anything for myself because they were making me feel so uncomfortable that I just wanted to get the heck outta there. We felt completely and totally disrespected! You wouldn't believe how quickly & dramatically their attitudes changed the second I opted to pay our nearly $750 total with cash. Read moreReturned a blouse today that was missed marked $20 higher and I noticed it on my receipt, so I took it to customer service to have the price adjusted. The woman there ( older lady, gray short hair) asked me if I’d like to keep the blouse. I said yes. She scanned it in and told me it was ringing up the incorrect price on my receipt. I said yes, that’s why I’m here , it should be the sale price. She proceeded to refund my item , sat the receipt on the counter and walked away! What? I had to ask another employee what just happened. That woman was rude and unprofessional. She didn’t bother to call upstairs to price check. I had to go upstairs grab another blouse ( that wasn’t my size because there weren’t anymore) and take it to a sales rep and explain what just happened. She had to walk all the way down to customer service and grab the blouse I returned, and bring it back so I could purchase it again. This woman should not be in customer service....
