If you're into retro gaming and computers, drop everything and get over there. I'm solidly impressed with this store. I've been to other locations, and while they had their merit, this is the one you need to checkout. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The store get's a variety of retro tech all the time. Where else can you buy a Commodore 64 and a monitor, an Atari 2600, an intellivsion, a sega genisys , nintendo 64/ snes / nes / 32, saturn, intellision, atari 800, commodore Vic 20 games with warranties. I'm noticing that the store is getting more packed with people and inventory, so check back often because things disappear and appear quickly. The prices are less than eBay's and you can test it all right there. No more "Untested" auctions. I've spent hundreds of dollars at disc replay, easily. They have retro games going all the way back. I even seen a Odyssey video game system in there. Boxed. It gets busy on the weekend (deservedly so) so I suggest going their during the week. Please never close. Gamestop, watch out. (Or they just may buy all the locations :P )

My favorite game store, cause let's be honest game stop doesn't even try anymore...... This was my original review at a five star rating, I've had three different bundles in the last year a Dreamcast bundle a Nintendo Wii bundle and the bundle shown in the picture the bundle shown in the picture they offered me $20 in store credit 19 something in cash. I watched the employee he didn't even look up the games, when I asked for the games back he said seriously? I already put them into inventory, what ever the hell that means, when he gave my games back he kept 4 of the most valuable games I had to go from the car back into the store and ask the manager for my other four games back he took responsibility for nothing seeing how he said he just got there and he apologized because they were understaffed. This was the third straw for me I'll never be returning I've spent lots and lots of money here and treated in numerous times but in the last year they did seem like they don't care much for trade in, I understand they can't offer you the exact amount but 10% of value is a joke

I very much enjoy this store. I collect video games. Old games as far back as the NES all the way up to current games. Their prices on newer games are better than gamestop's standard prices. But if you wait for deals or promo's at other stores you can find them for cheaper. It would be nice if Disc Replay could run sales on certain things, but then again they are not a large copy like Gamestop or Best Buy, so they don't have weekly ads and such. Also if they had maybe like a buy 2 get 1 free a few times a year that would be awesome. So i do not buy too much newer stuff here, but then again that's my preference. If you're looking for convenience, Disc Replay will definitely have the better standard price than any other store.

What I really come to Disc Replay for is their older game selection. Everything pre PS3/360 era. Their prices on older games are some of the most fair prices I've ever seen. Most of the time they price things a little under market value as well. Which is really nice, because a lot of older games are crazy inflated on ebay or at other stores. So since Disc Replay has been around, I no longer shop at other local retro game stores. They don't charge $25 for a copy of Super Mario 3 just cause it's popular and they don't call it "rare". Every other store around here does that, because people don't know better. BTW, Super Mario 3 is not rare and it's not worth $25. Go to disc replay and they'll charge you the fair price of $10-$12 for it. Also, their prices on older consoles are better than you'll find anywhere else

They also have a disc resurfacing service and they charge a good price. They don't leave crappy resurfacing marks and do a fair job at it. Their prices for trade ins are decent, I have traded many things into them. They'll give you around half of what they sell it for in credit which is really nice. I hate when other places give you a $1 for something and then throw it on their shelves for $20. I've also had other places give me an offer for way less on my stuff. Maybe they thought I didn't know what I had, but it was insulting. That's why i appreciate Disc Replay's fair trade in system.

Their staff could be more knowledgeable, but they aren't going to just hire know it all's that know everything. So sorry of they don't know some obscure detail about the Turbografx-16. Just cause you know a ton about video games, doesn't mean that they do. They help you to the best of their ability and if they don't know something they ask someone who does. Which is super appreciated. They know much more than what I've seen at other store and I don't have to deal with the pretentious attitude that I see at other places.

As far as movies and music go. I haven't really purchased any of that stuff because I'm mostly into video games. But their prices seemed really good on used blu-rays and dvd's. Especially on season of tv shows.

So all in all Disc Replay has minor faults in my eyes. But I have never been anywhere that is perfect. Disc Replay is bar none my favorite carrier of retro games in the area. They have a very nice staff that are always accommodating. They have super good prices on some things and everything else is fairly priced. I never see anything too overly inflated and if i do it's only a couple things. Which is nice to see, cause most places that deal in this type of thing, 95% of their stock has crazy inflated prices on it. So I definitely recommend checking out Disc Replay if you're into video games,...

You can find so many things you thought were lost to garage sales and basements the world over. I found a good copy of Super Metroid (though like most SNES games, the internal battery long died out), a practically flawless Zelda: A Link to the Past, and several classic N64 titles I've been missing for years. A couple of the games I bought were considerably rarer, and were more than reasonably priced. I'd be pretty happy to find Super Metroid for ten bucks or so anywhere, so I was pretty floored when I did. The staff was very friendly, they card you when you use a credit card (THANK YOU for protecting my information!), and while I don't know if I'm necessarily going to spend 20$ enough times to make good use of that punch card, it might just lead me to make my next console purchase here. I wouldn't mind expanding my classic library as motivation to do so!

As for the store itself, it has a very familiar layout. It almost feels like a cross between an old-school Blockbuster and a Gamestop in organization; The length of the store has long aisle-ways full of sections belonging to various consoles and DVD's as well. Most of the more recent games are closer to the door, so you're likely to pass them on your way to the register. The register itself has tons of gaming swag, one of these days I'm buying those Zelda mints. As you walk towards the back of the store you get a 'walking back into time' vibe. The audio system in the store is always synced to a pretty awesome Pandora mix. I heard Pegboard Nerds one day, and Passion Pit the other, both of which seemed appropriate.

I always find something new when I go there. That's the kind of wonder old school gaming brought to me when I was younger and others bought games for me. Now I have a practically market-like environment to be the buyer of such classic experiences. And you never know what someone will have brought in to sell by tomorrow. Give this place a visit or three.

Edit: I do have a small suggestion. I have that copy of Super Metroid, and the problem with the battery is very common in cartridge technology. I don't know what kind of bit the cartridge's screws use, but I'm willing to bet you could offer a battery replacement service for a reasonable profit since so many of your customers are purchasing this older technology. I am 100% happy with my purchase regardless, I've had some trouble finding this game at a reasonable price (good condition or not). I would however, use such a service and pay whatever the battery would cost and then your own determined service fee. One thing I've always loved about Super Metroid, is that you can actually beat it in only a few hours. Which coincidentally enough, is only about one charge of the SupaBoy I bought from...

I've been to a lot of game stores and let me tell you, this place sucks. My initial impression of the store was that it was pretty big, but very unorganized. Games were out of order. Multiple copies of the same game would have very different prices and be on completely different shelves. I could see they put higher price stickers over top of lower price stickers. Some of the games on the shelves had the discs in them already, some didn't. The cashier was going to overcharge me if I hadn't reminded her that they had signs posted that if you buy 5, you get 1 free. I got home and over half of the games I bought were missing the actual disc. One of the cases I opened had cobwebs and pet hair in it. I drove back out the next weekend to get the discs and I ended up waiting like 20 minutes because none of the registers were working. The customer in front of me was given a $5 off coupon who turned and gave it to me because she said she would not be coming back. I decided to use the $5 and trade one of the games I had for three different games that would add up to roughly the same price. When I was rung up, I asked if I had store credit left over and was told no, even though my receipt clearly indicated that I should. When I got home, I couldn't believe it but one of the games I just traded for was missing the disc again! At this point I just wanted to return it and be done with this place. I called and spoke to the assistant manager who told me I could, due to the circumstances. When I arrived there the third time, the cashier kept cutting me off and wouldn't let me talk. I was not trying to argue, I was just trying to explain my situation but I wasn't even able to finish a single sentence the whole time I was there. He did refund the cost of the game but I ended up spending more in gas to make the multiple...
