Much of my family and friends purchase product from this store as well as myself for business. They have a good variety and have most everything anyone would need. BUT... My girlfriend and I went in for a few things a couple days ago and were disgusted with how they treated us. We planned to buy potato seed along with other things for a job. When our ticket number was called, we both went to the counter (neither of us realized they’re only letting 1 person be by the counter in the front) and the employee (short female w/ a tie-dye shirt and short hair) freaked out at me and started yelling and saying “you can’t be here, only 1 person there at the counter!”, and “You have to go somewhere and do something else!” even while I was walking away, she was still yelling. Customers that were at the counter nearby were all looking at the girl as she flew off the handle. After I walked away, another employee briefly apologized to me for the girls behavior. After I left and the girl had stopped yelling, she said “what do you want” to her m(gf); my girlfriend then asked what their best selling potatoes were and the girl acted snotty and just said she didn’t know (not asking other employees or anything). Another employee had to step in and explain that they suggest the red potatoes and when she (my gf) said she would like the minimum amount, the girl said “how much do you want.” Which she(gf) had to repeat that she wanted the minimum amount. After she (gf) had received the potato seeds (originally planned to buy different seeds as well but decided against it based on how they treated us), we went to check out in the back. We saw the owner (Marks wife) and I decided to inform her of the experience we just had. When I explained what happened, the first thing she did was defend the employee saying, “we try to enforce the 1 person at the counter”. I then explained we didn’t have a problem with that rule but the way the employee acted/treated us was the problem. I then told her that I wanted to let her know so she can be aware. The only thing the owner said was “alright/ok” after explaining... no “I’ll talk to the employee and make sure they don’t do it again”, no “I’m so sorry, that is not ok; we don’t treat our customers like that” nothing at all... absolutely no care about it! Anyone that owns a business should know that’s not acceptable.
Neither my Girlfriend or I would care to give our business to them again after the way we...
