Great Harvest Bread Co. — Restaurant in Logan

Everyone who works here is an absolute sweetheart. I grew up with a Great Harvest where I lived and it felt like home. This one is exactly the same. The food is top notch, the workers are excited to help, and I leave feeling better than when I came in. Chick-Fil-A’s got some competition.

Edit from latest visit: I had a strange experience today. I came in and ordered a sandwich right before a big rush, and while I was waiting for my sandwich I expected it to take longer since a lot of people came in and they only had so many workers. 20 minutes go by and I start to notice that everyone who came after me was getting their food first. I assumed maybe their orders were easier and took less time? Eventually all of the workers were in the back and I was waiting by the sandwich pickup and I noticed there were no more order tabs left. There had been an order sitting out for "Stacie" that they called out several times, and since that isn't my name I assumed it was someone else's order. I was going to go up and ask if I'd missed my food being called out when I noticed two of the girls came back to the sandwich station and were talking to each other and looking over. One of them went and grabbed the sandwich and brought it over to me and said "have a nice day", but they both seemed irritated with me as though I was too lazy to grab my food or I was distracted on my phone and should've been paying attention. I came home with a soggy sandwich and wanted to cry, lol. I've always had such wonderful experiences at this place, it was a big positive part of my childhood. The food is always good, my friend who is/was on shift is always lovely and great at her job, but I felt so bad and embarrassed for not recognizing my order because they didn't confirm my name before sending the order through. I'm likely going to stick with my hometown location...

Great place for fresh bread, tasty sandwiches, and baked desserts. I absolutely love the Eve's Garden sandwich - when they remember to add the balsamic vinaigrette. Unfortunately they aren't very consistent. If it isn't the balsamic then they often leave out the hummus.

I am knocking this down to 3 stars for a couple of reasons.

1. They rarely answer the phone when I call (about 1 in 5 times I get someone) which means it is tough to get take out or find out if your favorite loaf is in stock.
2. Imho the music is way too loud. Sometimes to the point where it is difficult to have a conversation. Granted, I have been called out for being a "low-talker"... but still. Music is too loud.
3. I brought in a buddy for his first experience with Great Harvest and the staff member taking his order was unpleasant, bordering on being rude. If I were by myself, then whatever, but since it was his first time I was disappointed.

I recommend trying this place. Especially because they will give you a free slice of fresh bread just for walking in. And usually there are multiple options to choose from.

Honestly, I wish there were more options like this in Cache County. Lots of...

Today I took my four year old for a mommy and me date and we decided to try the great harvest bread Co. For the first time. The food here is absolutely delicious! The service was absolutely awesome. The ladies behind the counter were very sweet and helpful!

I had the Reuben sandwich with an 8oz clam chowder soup. The Reuben was delicious, and was even better than the one I had at the world famous Katz's deli. The rye bread was perfectly toasted and the meat was perfect. The clam chowder is now my new favorite, it was so good.

My daughter had the kids pb&j sandwich with chips, and she loved it which says a lot because she is a very picky eater.

The bread at this place is so good!!!!

We ended our meal with cookies and a brownie!

Every thing we had here was stupendous! If your looking for a tasty easy lunch in Logan you have to try this place! If I could give them ten stars I would! Go try them out, I Haynes you...
