Hannam Supermarket — Attraction in Los Angeles

From today on I am never setting a foot in this store!!! Still remember shopping here as a teenager as I walked to Berendo Middle School over 20 years ago. Today I was there shopping with my daughters since they wanted to make black bean paste noodles from scratch so we stopped by to purchase the ingredients along with some cold brew coffee and this Korean lady just approaches me and asked Are you only taking one coffee? And I said yes and replied with a question Is there a special or what? She said no and takes out a straw wrapper from her pocket and said. Well you stole one and drank it! You only left the wrapper. I was in shock I guess and only asked what?? Are you serious and she responded Yes! I have you on video so me still in disbelief asked if I could see the footage and she said Yes right now. So When I slipped out of stupidness I requested to speak with her immediate supervisor and I was denied to speak with him. I said I was going to call the police for wrongful accusations and then suddenly everything was a mistake. Nothing ever happened here but she refused to provide her name and I managed to speak to the supervisor after 3 hours of him being denied just to hear that he would have a talk with the employee. I don't know wether I should categorize this as racial profiling or nothing other that falsely trying to criminally accuse me with false/ nonexistent evidence. If someone knows how to proceed In this situation please let me know because I am more than sure I am not the first or only one that they have...

I live in the neighborhood and have been shopping here about once a week for more than 6 months. Today I was profiled by the security guard. He shouted something at me in the parking lot but I had headphones on, he then chased me into the store and told me I needed to bring my backpack to the front. I have never seen anyone else be asked to do this, nor has it happened to me in the time I've been shopping here. Another customer even told me I should speak to the manager because the security guard profiled me. When I told the manager that I was yelled at and chased by his security guard and singled out he said sorry, went and got the security guard to talk to me and then continued helping other customers. The guard began telling me he should have asked me more politely but he didn't know if I was a "good person" because sometimes people come in and steal. I had to explain to him that it is considered profiling to single out specific people and not enforce a policy with every customer. There is no reason I should be yelled at and chased. I am beyond disappointed with how the manager dealt with this situation and I can tell it was not at all taken seriously. I will not be...

Avoid this place like the plague!!! Parking is horrendous and very limited. Add to that, hundreds of inconsiderate patrons who will take your parking spot despite the fact that you've been circling and finally waiting for the spot. It takes all energy not to get out of the car and simply say "What the heck? I was clearly waiting for that spot!" Not worth the trouble but still frustrating nonetheless.

Then, you finally get in and the rudeness gets worse!!! People leave their carts anywhere blocking foot traffic, cut you off at checkout lines and touch/push your cart out of their way of they feel like it, even if there's a purse or a kid in it!!! Oh! Be ready to get your Achilles heel crushed by carts behind you! It's super painful! Ouch...

Staff: don't know who's worse. The rude patrons or the awful attitude of the staff.

This is the most ridiculous market I've ever dealt with in my entire life!!! It is such a bad example of inconsiderate people being selfish. If you absolutely need to go, take a Valium!...
