This is a Chinese restaurant run by a Korean family. It is a small restaurant with a big menu (chicken, pork, beef, seafood, noodles, and appetizers). Our vaccination cards were meticulously checked at the door. The waitress recommended the spicy noodle soup (#17 on the menu) and dumplings. Dumplings were most excellent. The portion is huge, and they are supple - a lot of meat in a large crunchy shell. Sufficient for at least two people. The soup also comes in a huge bowl and can be shared by two people. We also ate Kung Pao chicken. Everything was excellent, and we hardly had to wait at all. We picked this place because of good reviews, and it did not disappoint.

This is a Korean style Chinese Restaurant that serves jjampong and jiajangmeon. I had the Jiampong rice which replaces the noodles with plain rice. Soup tasted quite home made. I would try the other dishes next time. Place is small inside and the strip mall parking can get crowded due to many shops in the mall.

Very yummy. Flavorful and well seasoned. Interesting vibe with a cassette player / radio - I liked it. Reminded me of korean - chinese food I grew up eating back in korea. Jjajang sauce and jjamppong sauce on side is 1.50 each. In photo: we had taken some bites already

I was in Los Angeles for an event, it was four of us. The outside doesn't say" Mandarin Garden" it saids " Mandarin Restaurant " we got a little confused, but the address was right, so we went in. Don't let the look fool you...I'm so glad we went inside. We ordered the fried pot stickers for appetizer, they were fried perfectly. Crisp on the outside moist on ther inside. Golden brown, flavorful. I ordered the Mandarin Fried rice as my main dish (this dish has everything, shrimp, beef, chicken), my daughter got orange chicken, our friend got- Kung Po, and the other got sweet and sour chicken. ALL OF OUR FOOD WAS HOT, AND FRESH!! Both orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken batter was home made. Amazing. We all live in San Diego, but please believe. We will be back. Thank you wonderful hospitality and good food. P.S. it was so much food that we took the rest to go, when I got home. It was sooooo...

What kind of Chinese restaurant runs out of rice?!

I used to come here all the time for pickup, but this was the last straw. I called to place an order and was immediately told they’re out of rice. Not “we’re running low,” not “we’re almost out”—just flat-out no rice. And they weren’t even close to closing!

It’s a Chinese restaurant. Rice is the bare minimum. How are you out of your most basic item and still answering the phone like you’re open for business?

I couldn’t even place my order. Complete waste of time. This place has gone downhill fast. Don’t bother. There are way better spots that actually have the food they’re...
