Terrible! Horrible service. Not clean, and very loud. . The room upon first glance looks like a modernized room. And offering two bottles of water free every day is a nice touch. We aren’t the picky type of people that care about things being perfect. However! First off the parking is terrible. There’s not enough spots for how many rooms there are. Very tight and hard to maneuver. Upon inspection in the room it was clear it wasn’t properly cleaned. the people before us smoked marijuana(fridge wreaked of it. Smoke detector was covered with plastic bag. Hole burned into the blanket.) there was graffiti on the walls. Crude stickers on the door. There was a sock on by the bed from a previous customer. The bathroom door had a hole. There was long black hair all over the floor of the bathroom. There was what looked like blood or Feecies by the bathroom light switch. And to top it off the shower head shot off when I turned the water on. So we weren’t able to shower. The drain didn’t plug so our kids couldn’t take a proper bath. We went to the front desk to tell them about everything that happened and that we would stay the one night but wanted a refund for our next two and they were annoyingly insistant on just fixing it all later(trying to imply they wanted us to still stay) after insisting we were leaving the next day and that we just wanted to be refunded for the next two days the woman told us to wait for her husband who would come later that night. We told her we would come down and talk to him when he came back. Instead they came up to our room at 9:30 pm trying to fix the shower head but we tried to tell them our kids were alseep and asked them to do it the next day. They insisted multiple times to come in and fix it but my baby would never sleep through it so I insisted they wait. Finally they agreed. They woke my husband up and almost woke our kids up. My husband went down stairs to insist they refund for the next two nights now and they were very rude to him but did refund him. It was late so we stayed the night but canceled our next two nights. The Heater was extremely loud and clunky sounding all night while we tried to sleep. And it wasn’t warm enough to turn it off. A dog barked on and off all night long very close to our room. Definitely too dirty and loud for us and our toddler and baby to spend time in. Unfortunate. We so badly wanted to be fine with the hotel. But so many things came up we really couldn’t be...

My daughter and I stayed here for a week this summer, (July/August), I booked it after researching many similar priced hotels in LA, primarily for the price tbh. We have nothing but good things to say about the inn and Mani and her family. The room was large and clean. The beds are comfortable and sheets were fresh and clean. There was a fridge, FREE wifi, a TV with about 100 channels, and the a/c unit was effective and a welcome relief from the 30+ degree days. The bathroom was again, clean with fresh towels, the shower was excellent, the water pressure was impressive and no issues with temperature. Mani and her husband are both good people, they were very kind and helpful. I understand some people might be concerned about staying in this part of LA, it’s a little sketchy and dirty, but my daughter and I used the transit system the whole time, we ate at the Taco trucks close by, we walked through the neighborhood and were never hustled or hassled. The hotel also felt safe. The car park was well lit and there are security cameras everywhere. The hotel was quiet, only once were we disturbed by other guests, the walls are fairly thin, but it wasn’t a big deal. I highly recommend you look into staying here, it far exceeded our expectations for the price point, and was the perfect ’base camp’ for our trip. Mani and her family were the icing...

If I could be completely honest, our stay there was the worst experience ever!

Like everyone else has said on here the parking is terrible which we knew ahead of time but the room was scary to say the least. The floors in our room were lifted and extremely unsafe to walk on barefoot. Of course I found this out the hard way so I had to buy some house slippers for our stay. We only had 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, no biggie except we never had house keeping come by at all. Which means we also weren’t getting fresh towels, I had to go and ask for it myself. Mind you we stayed from Friday to Tuesday and I’m guessing they were expecting that that was enough for two adults.

But to make matters worse there were cockroaches. My partner was awoken by one crawling on her and for some reason they loved living in the bathroom. The room smelled like someone at one point had smoked in it non stop.

I wish I could say that I couldn’t wait to go back, but never again. I would say the only positive is that it has hot water.

It has a TV, but they removed all the HDMI outlets. So tough luck if you like to travel with your streaming device.

It has a fridge and that’s all the amenities...

Worst experience I ever had at a "hotel". Roaches EVERYWHERE. As soon as we opened the door to our room we were greeted by a roach running around the floor. Then we opened the toilet and another one was running around. Behind the toilet paper there was a dead roach. The toilet had clearly not been cleaned. We tried to ask for another room and was rudely told that our room was clean and that there was no roaches. After a couple of hours in the room and having turned the lights of, when I turned the lights on again there was FIVE roaches running all over the place. Absolutely disgusting if you like filth and roaches all over the place this is perfect for you. Management is a joke, Avoid these scammers.

The place was great since we were visiting Universal Studios the next day. We wanted to be close by. It was only a 15 min drive to the amusement park. The room was nice and clean. The staff was very polite. The only issue was that IT WAS TIGHT PARKING for my big Crown Victoria. Ha ha! Small cars got it lucky. Just make sure you don't get blocked in on the carport parking by other cars if you need to leave early the next day. Otherwise, it's a great value for a Saturday night in L.A. to stay. On one other note, make reservations as early as possible. Rooms book up fast for the weekends!
