We enjoyed our stay at The Adler. It was the perfect location for what we wanted to do while in the area: a quick 10 mins ride to Universal, an easy walk to Hollywood Blvd, and horseback riding through the Hollywood Hills. It was in a quieter part of the area, and despite it being on Franklin, our room was quiet and we were not bothered by noise in the least. It felt safe as well. The rooms are funky and comfortable. We did find them to be rather...moist...due to the lack of a fan in the bathroom, which was a bit odd. We had to keep the bathroom window open in order to clear out the steam from a hot shower and our clothes in the adjacent wardrobe felt mildly damp, and then the room would be kinda cold. That was really the only downside to the room. The pool also super super super cold. We were told it was only heated to 73 degrees, which made for a couple of very icy attempts at swimming. This was disappointing for my 9 year old, as the pool looks lovely, but in January it is more for aesthetics. I did not see anyone else attempt to swim when we were there. It is likely fine in the summer but it would have been great to be able to use the pool after a long day of walking around. Bring your wetsuits if you're going in winter lol. There was zero room upkeep during our three day stay, which we knew only happened upon request, and was fine with us. Clark Street diner was amazing! What a great, convenient spot for breakfast. We also enjoyed dinner there our first night, which was so easy. Lily's Bar was also sweet. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel for the amazing location and the price. It was less than half of what we were looking at for other hotels in the area. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful too.

We stayed at the Best Western as it seemed like a good location in Hollywood for a reasonable price. Check in was quick and the receptionist gave us a quick run down of nearby things to do and things we could book. The Elevator is crazily slow, so if you can take the stairs thats recommended. Note: Twin Queen Room The room was very large and so was the bathroom. I could best describe the rooms as a good Best Western Style room but if your used to city lux its far from that. The air conditioner unit was a bit louder than I would like but it was not a major issue. The bathroom could use with a bit of an update but at least the shower was hot. The beds were comfortable and the TV had a good selection of channels some paid and some free. The location of this hotel is within a walk to Hollywood blvd and the Hollywood/Vine Metro Station if public transport is the way you are going. The hotel also has a great diner (Cafe 101) which is open late and has some good food. Overall The Best Western Plus delivered a good stay, it has a lot of memorabilia on the walls which is fascinating and there were no major issues during the stay but I also would not say the hotel is fantastic enough to earn a 5 star stay.

If you are a big fan of everything Vintage Hollywood - you'll LOVE this hotel! It's walking distance to Hollywood Blvd and I loved the vintage, art deco feel of the lobby and downstairs area, the 101 Coffee Shop on the main floor is a GREAT place to eat and only adds to the vintage feel! The beds were extremely comfortable and our room was surprisingly roomy! We had three people and lots of bags and still so roomy! Pool and deck, laundry facilities and vending machines offering candy, pop and laundry detergent was a great plus! Parking was the biggest problem, if you arrive late to the hotel or have a late night....the self park apparently fills up and you're left to the mercy of the valets. Of the three valets we encountered, two of them were downright rude. Parking was $22 a day for guests, not free and definitely not worth it since the valets treat you like you're a criminal trying to sneak on the property. All the other employees were just wonderful and so friendly!

We enjoyed our one-night stay here (me and my three kids from 7-11). The beds and bedding were very comfy, with more than adequate pillows, and an extra blanket in the bathroom closet. Fun decor throughout, and you can tell they take pride in the place. We ended up in a handicap accessible room, which meant the room was extra small and the bathroom was huge, but it worked out just fine. All the staff we interacted with was very friendly, helpful, and professional. Room was clean and everything worked fine. It was a little noisy at times, but that wasn't an issue for us, since we brought a white noise machine. Zero complaints, but do your homework on where you need to pull in to park. The lobby entrance is kind of in an alley behind the hotel almost. Valet parking is mandatory due to space issues, and there is a nightly fee. (Both of which I was aware of beforehand.)
