Stayed at the Kimpton and came down for dinner one day because it was easy, on our way out, and we needed to kill some time before a show at TCL. I was torn on what to get a lot of the items on the menu just were not doing it for me. I am not a picky eater but I did not pre look at the menu assuming there would be something. Well it came down to the summer corn & lobster ravioli as the waitress suggestion so I went with it. Then she came back to tell me they had no lobster so they were substituting shrimp. (Fine). My husband got a pizza (he is picky). Once we got our food it was terrible. I felt like ingredients of my ravioli were just thrown together to make a dish, not even sure they went together. The tastes were just so combative, you get 6 pieces of ravioli for $35! The pizza was so flat, no taste, and the sauce was so runny everything just slipped off. We just kinda picked through what we could, but would not recommend this place to anyone for dinner at the very least. I’m sure drinks or coffee and maybe breakfast is fine. But overall nothing looked or tasted good and it came out giving the same impression. Maybe should’ve gotten and overpriced salad. B it overall I have no good impressions here. I would have rather got fast food for how much we spent.

Located in the lovely Everly Hotel this is a wonderful place to grab a coffee or a Happy Hour drink or snack. We were able to catch the end of Happy Hour and really enjoyed the flatbread pizza and avocado toast. As we shifted to dinner we opted for the cheese plate and charcuterie board since we were going to the Pantages Theatre and couldn't have leftovers. The $19 cheese plate was a bit sad but OK with 3-ish different cheeses nothing special. The $21 charcuterie board was disappointing especially considering the price tag. It had 3 types of meat and all of them felt like generic grocery store bought deli slices and some toasted bread. Perhaps I need to try their main dishes but I was less than impressed with the shared plates. The staff is friendly and its location makes it a great pre-Pantages spot. I would definitely return for cocktails or Happy Hour but I'm not sure about dinner.

Visited this place twice on one Sunday for Brunch and then Dinner. So Brunch was amazing, I had the Cinnamon Toast Crunch waffle and tried the chilaquiles from a friend. Both were great and they even offered a military discount. As for dinner, it didn’t go so well. We had to pay upfront and I had forgotten to even give a tip. They said there was no military discount either. Once we got our food, I had the veggie lasagna and it was good. I tried the lobster spaghetti. The lobster was rubbery and cold and so were the tomatoes. Also the plate says fennel but I didn’t taste any (I actually don’t like fennel). Overall this place is great but needs to be more consistent in their food quality and service. I will be back to give them another try.

Came with a party of 7 total. At first, everything was good, service, atmosphere, etc. We were told by a server (or busser?) not to order one of the meals as it was small, so we appreciated the honesty. However, he seemed to recommend almost everything, leaving out only one or two items from the small menu. We ordered pastas, pizzas, and salads. We got two of the pizzas and two pastas in very good time. However, the pastas were lacking in flavor and the meal itself was off. I personally ordered the bucatini carbonara and what came out was penne with scrambled egg, bacon, onion, and some lima beans. My cousin ordered the cacio e pepe gnocchi and it looked like unsauced gnocchi with some pepper on top. Mind you, these two pastas are sauce centric, so it was disappointing to see very dry pastas. We thought they were then going to bring back the rest of the food, two pastas, a pizza, and two caesar salads. It took twenty minutes to get them, the most surprising being the salads. We tried to get our server but it seemed like they were ignoring what was happening until we got the attention of the other person working the floor. They expressed how sorry they were, but then said they could see if they can take off a little for the pizza that was taking the longest. As someone in the industry, I would have taken off the entire pizza immediately, but I also understand that they may not have the authority to say they can do that. In the end, they ended up taking off the pizza for us and offered some free desserts. We declined, but it was a nice effort. All in all, it was a disappointing dinner, as we were told the pizzas were the speciality, but ended up waiting 20 minutes for the other half of the food to arrive...

I would have given a 5 star rating but I have a few concerns, food was amazing service was okay I’ve had better. Don’t judge a person by a book why I’m saying this is I asked if there was a table available I was told we have to pay first i was like okay I ordered what I wanted. And then was gonna pay paying with cash but then told there was no change to give back that needs to be fixed. I don’t mind but there’s some people that would say the different, now back to the part where I was told I have to pay before able to get a table I didn’t mind but still, when I say don’t judge a person by the book, I was waiting for my food and seen other tables asked if they wanted there check two tables note that when I say don’t judge a person by the book I come in with sweat pants and T-shirt my daughter has on simple clothes as well the people who was asked if they wanted there check had on designer clothes and Nices bags whatever. What I’m trying to say is I make as much money as they do and work with celebrities. I just don’t flash myself like other people do, the change probably happened twice the first time i didn’t think anything of it till it happened again. My wife said your guys breakfast was amazing and I ordered it to go I didn’t try it, today was the first time I tried out your guys food it was amazing my daughter loved it. We just moved to the area I just hope you fix those problems and concerns. Will see I still got Yelp to review note I’m the one who tipped $30 when I didn’t have to. Hope the...

We came by Jane Q's before a show at the Pantages. It's walking distance from the theatre.

Ambiance: The space is really cute, bright & open. I love the floor to ceiling windows and overall decor.

Service: The staff was overall friendly, but seemingly disorganized. After the first few dishes, the staff removed our plates and silver-wear, after serving us more food, we had to ask for plates. Then we had to ask for silver-wear. And despite the fact that there seemed to have been a good amount of staff around, and we were sitting at the bar, it was difficult at times to get somebody's attention. But, when we got somebody's attention, it was friendly and welcoming.

Food: I am pretty 50/50 on the food. We tried the avocado toast, which was a big piece and tasty, as well as the flatbread, on bartenders recco. Both those dishes were delicious and the flavors were well balanced. I'd order them again. Now for the main reason I am giving 2 stars. The charcuterie plate. It's actually kinda embarrassing to charge over $20 for a plate of cold cuts, that not only come pre-sliced and packaged, but out meats were not even fresh. You can tell when the sides of the meat starts curling up, that it has been sitting open in the refrigerator. The cheese plate was a bit better, but equally disappointing. None of them were bad, but for what you get served, I find them...
